There is a sandy beach which is surrounded by cliffs with numerous rock pools to explore and climb and beautiful clear blue waters to swim in. You can also enjoy breathtaking walks on the south west coastal path which takes you along some of the most unspoilt coastline in the country. There are great opportunities for birdwatching. The small town of Salcombe is 10 mins by car (or 3 mile scenic coastal walk) with restaurants, bars, shops and water sports. The nearby villages of Malborough, Hope Cove and South Milton also have pubs and restaurants. Bantham beach is good for surfing. The are golf courses at Thurlstone and Bigbury. The larger town of Kingsbridge is a 20 minute drive.
