Silver Street Cottage is a grade two listed building in the heart of the historic market town Christchurch. It sleeps up to 6 people & is within a minutes’ walk to Christchurch Quay, the historic Priory quarter, the park not to mention the huge host of shops, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. There is something for everyone in Christchurch and also within easy access to the stunning beaches of Southbourne and Bournemouth, Mudeford Quay, Hengisbury Head and the New Forest. Silver Street Cottage is crammed with character – everyone falls in love with it. A holiday at our beautiful cottage combines three of life's greatest pleasures: the great outdoors, good food and home comforts.

Child Friendly: Yes, but caution needed. Items such as stair gates / bath slip mats / fire guard provided but this is an old cottage and the stairs take some navigation.

Highlights: Log burner, large kitchen with table to sit around, central location, fantastic restaurants & cafes, beautiful courtyard, extremely comfy beds, fabulous shower & thoughtful touches throughout.

A nice spacious cottage , and probably the best possible location in Christchurch , only a very short walk to shops ,restaurants/pubs and the quay we had a very relaxing stay

Family weekend

Excellent cottage. Our second stay here, perfect layout for an extended family. Very good facilities all in good condition, also had plenty of cooking utensils and made self catering easy and fun. This cottage is in a very central position for all the shops bars and restaurants in Christchurch, and an easy walk to the river. Just lovely.

Lovely place very central great restaurants and all covid safe more information needed about recycling and rubbish collection house needed dining room window and ground floor bedroom shower door fixing and first impressions on courtyard and windows covered in cobwebs need to be addressed but once inside it has everything you need for a great stay

Silver Street Cottage was a huge renovation project...the type half way through you think, what have we done! When the dust had settled we remembered why we fell in love with it and its been enjoyed by ourselves and visitors since May 2014.

With a little one ourselves we have tried to make it as “family friendly” as possible with bits & pieces tucked away to make packing the car easier!

Why they chose this property

Quite simply we brought Silver Street Cottage as we fell in love with its character and location.

I grew up in The New Forest and moved away some time ago so really enjoy "coming home" and spending some time in this beautiful part of the world.

What makes this property unique

Central location with easy access to the New Forest & beaches. Excellent restaurants / café bars within a few minutes walk to meet every pallet & pocket.
