Lovely cottage set up on the hillside away from roads. There was everything we needed for our stay. A very comfortable cottage with lovely views across the countryside. Very handy for us with our golden retrievers visiting the Guisachan Gathering in nearby Tomich

Disgusting cottage- PLEASE STAY AWAY
On arrival the smell on opening the door was disgusting, floors dirty, kitchen filthy, kitchen pots, pans, plates, cutlery absolutely disgusting not been washed, kids bed had blue throws over them that were covered in dog hair and the same room had bugs crawling over the walls, had to clean the place before letting our children in and the next morning we have to leave when my son woke up with ticks that had bitten into his stomach so stays for about 20hours instead of 4 days and the owner doesn’t care and told me if I contact her again I would get reported for harassment. I would give it a zero rating but doesn’t have that option. Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS COTTAGE. Definitely one for environmental health to visit. No refund offered so had to go through my bank

Peaceful and restorative
The cottage is obviously well loved and has a marvellous feel. And location! Furniture is comfortable, kitchen has what you need (and the slow cooker was very handy!) The host was very quick to respond when we had an issue (which was dealt with efficiently and effectively). We would happily stay again!

Beauly offers enjoyable local amenities and Inverness is about a 25 minute drive a way for a great day out.

Keen walkers and outdoor types will be pleased to discover the unlimited local forest and hill walks available in the area and can start from your doorstep.

Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle are about a 40 minute drive away or take a road trip to the Isle of Skye.

Glen Affric is a short drive way, one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland.

Golfers have the convenience of Aigas Golf course whose Club House is situated no more than 1.5 miles away, where you can enjoy refreshments after a round on their attractive fairways.
