Ilfracombe, North Devon - Walking distance to harbour, beach and a great selection of restaurants and pubs.
About Kristy O'Connor
I live in Bristol and work in London so really enjoy taking time out to head to the coast and relax on the beach or go surfing. North Devon has always been one of my favourite places to go as it has some of the best beaches in the country.
Kristy O'Connor purchased this Apartment in 2014
Why Kristy O'Connor chose Ilfracombe
I had been looking for a property in North Devon for a long time as I regularly travel back and forth from my home in Bristol to go surfing and generally relax by the sea. When Verity Views came onto the market I knew it was the perfect place for me as it was based in Ilfracombe which meant I was within a 20 minute drive of my three favourite beaches (Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton) and it had the most amazing view which I can just sit and watch for hours.
What makes this Apartment unique
There are so many great restaurants and pubs in Ilfracombe that you are spoilt for choice every day and they are all within a short walk of the apartment. There's also a parking space right outside the property which is rather rare in the town and great when you're arriving late at night after work.
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
Great Apartment with amazing views
We have just left Ilfracombe after a great week in this gorgeous apartment. Kristy was great to deal with and everything was made very easy. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The views from the balcony down to the harbour were amazing and the perfect place to sit and chill after a busy day!
Communication from Kristy from start to finish was great. The apartment itself is lovely and spacious with everything you could need (I was particularly impressed with the kitchen items). Everything was clean and tidy and the view from the balcony was just gorgeous. Thanks for allowing us to let the apartment, we had a great holiday!
A lovely break for 2 adults and a small dog
A well kept property with all of the equipment required for a self catered holiday. Great location being just 5 mins from the harbour. Fantastic views with brilliant access to lovely walks.
Would definitely recommend and look to stay again in the future.
Lovely flat and setting- really wonderful break from city life!
very spacious apartment, excellent amenities, nice personal touches, quick response times from the owner, very clean on arrival, parking is a bit tight, wife got the focus in most days, you can park on the road outside after 6pm upto 10am nxt day, just move or you will get a ticket.
overall excellent apartment, amazing views of the harbour, 4 stars is because of the parking. enjoyed our holiday despite the weather, bit drizzly on days, on arrival look for number 6 house, the keypad is the left of the door for the keys, parking space is number 3, bit faded but visible, no bar or key lock for parking as stated in parking instructions, tight but possible.
Great location, great standard of accommodation, amazing views.
As some other reviews state. The parking is a bit tight. But this is a minor inconvenience when presented with everything else this property offers. We were blown away by the views of the harbour and surrounding area from the bedroom and living room. Sunsets were amazing too. The property itself is lovely and finished to a high standard. Having 2 bathrooms and a separate shower and bath was a real plus. What a great base for an amazing holiday in North Devon. We will be back.
Just 10 minutes walk from the apartment are the Tunnels Beaches - hand carved in the 1820's, the four tunnels provide a truly unique experience with a tidal pool and fantastic rock pools (rated the 3rd best beach for rock pooling in the UK by BBC Wildlife magazine).
Within 20 minutes drive of the town are many superb sandy beaches including Croyde (voted England's best beach), Woolacombe Bay (3 miles long) and Saunton Sands (the UK's best long boarding surfing beach).
