A delightful home in a stunning location!
Warren Farmhouse is set on a hilltop in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, commanding sweeping views. Private, immaculately clean, well-provisioned and appointed, the house was both cosy and comfortable.
Delightful walks abound, and the house is well situated for forays to the coast or to Thirsk or Castle Howard. Despite the fact that we were blessed with fine weather, we always looked forward to our return to the warm Aga and to a blazing fire in the lounge. The beds were comfortable, the sheets crisp, the water piping hot.
Bleating lambs and birdsong greeted each rising morn, and the lawns were kept tidily cut. Being gardeners, we longed for a few flowers, but brought bouquets of wildflowers home from our jaunts.
Andrea takes excellent care of the house, and she and her husband were very kind and attentive, throughout our stay.
Warren Farmhouse is highly recommended!
Thank you for your lovely review - we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the Warren and would love to welcome you back again.
