At one time the building was the Free Church of Scotland and retains much of that character. Recently renovated to a high standard it now offers a "home away from home"; everything you need for comfort is provided, from luxury bedlinen, scented candles and fluffy towels. The property is five minutes walk from the local shop, yet retains a feeling of being away from it all as it is located up a private lane that provides no through road. All appliances are less than three years old and a modern under floor heating system and wood burning stove provide comfort at all times of year. The living space is open plan to the kitchen and is a double height space, with a gallery to the upstairs, letting in loads of natural light. The bathrooms are modern, with both bath and shower available. Outside the property is not overlooked. There is a lovely patio with sun chairs and wooden fixed picnic table, in a wee sun trap. Parking is easy and there is plenty of space for four cars or more. Set in mature pine forest, yet south facing to the patio doors at the rear you could not pick a better location for a family holiday.

Lovely house in great location.
The house was really nice inside with everything you need for a relaxing break. Situated right on the edge of woodlands with lovely walks right from the door.
The wood burner was great after a day out in the Cairngorms National Park and gave the house a real cosy feel.
Loads to do on the doorstep or short trips in the car or by bike.
The owners have provided everything in the house that you would need too.
Would definitely recommend this house and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
What a Tardis!
On approach the cottage looked compact but from the minute you walk into the entrance hall "WoW!" It was an incredible size inside. Huge entrance hall, large downstair stair shower room and toilet. Lovely - again very spacious - bedroom.
A very well equipped kitchen area that leads into the living area. WOW! Again. Upstairs was gorgeous. Two large bedrooms beautifully decorated.
Everything we needed was there. Walks were amazing and on the doorstep. The village was lovely - as was the local pub.
We had awful weather but all of the above made up for it. A great week away.
Fabulous cottage, fantastic location!
This fabulous cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Perfect for our family of four.
The location was fantastic, we bought weekly passes for Landmark and wandered through the woods (3 or 4 minutes) almost daily to use the park. A 5 minute walk to the local shop (where you could grab the basics), but worth noting that Tesco deliver if you fancy shopping in advance of your stay.
Also a few minutes walk to the local pub, which also serves food (although we didn't eat there during our stay). The woods behind the cottage are beautiful and offer walks, long and short.
Not often do I think I will return to exactly the same property, but this was so perfect that we are consider booking again for next year!
Thanks for your lovely review- we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
Top notch accommodation. Bigger than it looks, quality fittings and fixtures and Carrbridge is a great location.
Thanks for your lovely review. We are so pleased you liked the house and had a nice time.
Lovely cottage, great location
Really enjoyed our stay, cottage had everything we needed. Great location and will return
Beautiful cottage, peaceful and airy with so many sites and experiences within easy reach
A home from home. The cottage has all you need. Some peaceful dog walks with amazing views all close by. Beautiful scenic lochs with the back drop of the mountains. Will visit again.
Easy access to sand at Loch Morlich and Loch an Dorb, coast within easy reach at Nairn, Findhorn etc
30 minutes to Inverness, 15 minutes to Aviemore. Nearest airport Inverness 45 minutes.
2 hours 30 minutes from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Landmark Forest Park is close to the property and is a fantastic experience for adults and children alike. You can walk through the forest to the park in about 5 minutes. Even with a toddler it is walkable and this avoids the biz of the car park at high season. It also means you can buy a season pass and visit first thing and last thing for a short while each day. The property is also well situated for many Carrbridge forest walks. You can mountain bike from the front door.
