We quite literally moved in with the hurricane of October 1987. Our re-location to Kent was forced thru business and we have never regretted the move. We have enjoyed the rural location whilst being close to all amenities .
What makes this Apartment unique
We live a peaceful existence in the heart of the Kent countryside with wide ranging views across the Teston valley, and often enjoy the company of passing horse riders, dog walkers and the like. Lots of footpaths are close by to explore the area in more detail, and a local hostelry is 20 minutes walk thru the fields, lovely on a summer evening. 2015 winners, Best in Village Front Garden, Area 3.
This accomodation is all that one could want. Really helpful but not intrusive proprietors. Clean, spacious, amazingly equipped, warm and comfortable. Peaceful and picturesque location.

A well equipped apartment that is nice and central to all of Kent's attractions. Roy and Anita were very friendly and helpful but also didn't intrude. It is in a very peacful location overlooking an apple orchard. Highly recommend to anyone.

Well appointed apartment
Very well kept with everything you could wish for. Very clean and well presented. The apartment is in a quiet and peaceful location but not far from Maidstone. The owners, Anita and Roy, were exceptionally helpful and welcoming and we would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone as it is a true 'home from home'.
We also had a delicious meal at The Horseshoe pub in the village well as visiting various N T properties in the area.

The most fantastic apartment we've stayed in so far.

Two miles to the M20/M2, 30 miles to Channel Tunnel and 40 miles Dover. London 30 miles, easy access by local train station (1/4 mile). Own transport recommended.
Situated in the Ancient village of East Farleigh, which is located 3 miles outside of Maidstone (County Town of Kent), giving the opportunity to explore the Kent countryside. Easy access to local footpaths - maps available. Nearby places of interest include Leeds Castle, Tunbridge Wells and the historic cities of Canterbury and Rochester.
Local public houses within walking distance (15mins) for lunch/evening meal. Bus stops (for travel to Maidstone and onwards) and railway station 1/4 mile (for travel to London or Tonbridge, Redhill, Croydon and Gatwick airport).
