First time in Staithes
The cottage was quant and well equipped. The ground floor was not all on one level, which was a little irritating when moving around downstairs, as the connecting door between kitchen and living space also quite small. I banged my head a couple of times. Kitchen and diner area really good,, although personally I would have gone for a slightly larger fridge. Very close to neighbors some of whom were very fond of their bristly yard brush and sweeping. Overall ok. Hate the steep bank and access into village but I guess this is part of the charm of the place, we just found it a little inconvenient.
Warm, well equipped and great location.
A fantastic, warm and well equipped cottage in a lovely location. Highly recommended.
Lovely place to stay
Loved it. Nice house, lovely setting and one of the nicest parts of the country
Well equipped and convenient, comfortable cottage
Great spot right in the middle of Staithes. Property hadall we needed for a fabulous few days.
My partner, daughter and i stayed at Stonegarth during half term, the cottage is very quaint and quirky with low beams and spiral stairs. The log burner was a highlight!! The weather was cold-ish and we couldn't wait to return each evening after a day out to get the fire roaring. The cottage is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Staithes is a lovely place to stay and the walks along the Cleveland way are within easy reach and have great views. Recommend a visit to Dotty's Tearoom in Staithes and also Whitby. We're already planning our next visit. Kate, Staffs
