I strive to ensure everyone who stays in my apartment has a fantastic time. I visit regularly in order to ensure everything is in a tip top condition and well maintained.

***5 Minutes Walk To The Beach, 4 Minutes Drive To Duquesa Marina. 3 minutes walk to nearest bar, restaurant, supermarket.
The apartment is situated on a beautiful complex, with immaculately maintained gardens and communal facilities. A wonderful swimming pool and a separate children's pool. It benefits from having a large private corner balcony, with sea and hillside views, wonderful for a quiet relaxing drink in the evenings, or sunbathing in the daytime on our sun loungers. Fully air conditioned with Spanish and UK TV/DVD.
Full unlimited fast private WiFi and internet.
Bar and restaurant 3 minutes walk (Aldea)
Mini Supermarket 3 mins walk
La Duquesa marina 4 mins drive with many bars and restaurants. (40 mins walk on promenade)
Sabinillas (Spanish town) on sea front next to La Duquesa with many bars and restaurants.
Castillo Spanish settlement with bars/restaurants, 25 mins walk on the way to La Duquesa.
A beach Chiringuito at least every 10 mins walk on the beach from the apartment to La Duquesa.
All the facilities you need for a great holiday.

As with most of this coast in the good times, there may be new or ongoing building work close by. It's occupational hazard in Spain because it's such a popular place. Our Alboran Hills development is complete and well established and no work is going on there.

Great apartment in good location!
My husband and I have just returned from a couple of weeks' stay in this apartment and were very pleased with it. The property was as described and we found everything that we needed was included. The beds were great and the bed linen and towels were of a very good quality. The kitchen and equipment was good and there was a washing machine if you need to wash your clothes. Good TV with UK channels available. The sea and country view from the balcony was amazing and there were 3 birds of prey that spent a lot of time perched on an old tree right opposite the patio doors and they would keep us entertained us for hours with their swooping and searching for food! One day we had a huge herd of goats pass by and spend the afternoon grazing down below the apartment (outside the complex fence though!) The apartment had private parking space downstairs in the communal garage, so it was easy to come back from the beach or the shops, park the car and just ride up in the lift to the apartment. The beach close to the apartment was great and there was a lovely little chiringuito with clean toilets, serving food and drinks and some sunbeds that were free of charge. The beaches along the coast were all as pristine and well cared-for and were mainly empty of people, so perfect for quiet beach days. Gibraltar is only 35 minutes' drive away and easy to get to, as are so many towns that are great to visit. Estepona's old town is definitely worth a visit and offers lots of lovely restaurants as well as a fantastic beach. The port of La Duquesa was very close and we did eat there one night but found that it was just another port full of British ex-pat boat-owners and pricey restaurants. We preferred to go to Las Sabinillas, which we found offered good restaurants with more local atmosphere. There was a great little fish and chip restaurant/take-away called "Marlows" located nearby, next to the Eroski supermarket, that we did eat in a few times. As well as the usual "proper" fish and chip dinners, they did excellent Sunday roasts at a good price. A little closer to the apartment, there was a brilliant Argentinian steak house called "El Estribo" . Quite expensive but with fabulous steaks and excellent wines! All in all, we had a great trip!

Excellent stay
The property was as described online. It was clean and tidy and we didn’t have any problems at all. It is within walking distance to the beach and also if you prefer the swimming was really close and a good size. The only slight negative we had and it wasn’t anything to do with the apartment was that the swimming pool didn’t open until around midday. This was because they had to have a lifeguard on duty which is totally understandable for safety but not ideal if you want a morning swim. We would definitely use the apartment again if we travel to that area again. 👍

Lovely clean apartment and plenty of equipment to self cater.The gardens are kept very tidy and a pleasure to sit in. The owner and onsite manager were both really helpful and communication prior to going and whilst there was great.

Fantastic!
We have just returned from the apartment and had a fantastic time there. The gardens and swimming pools are beautiful. The complex is gated so it is very private, and the apartment overlooks the sea and hillside, and the balcony is so relaxing and peaceful. There is a small shop literally 2 mins walk away, for essentials, and a fantastic walk into the marina with beach bars along the way. The apartment was immaculate. A lot of time and effort must go into maintaining this, as it didn’t have the usual “well used” look of other places we have stayed at. Nigel was extremely helpful and supplied all the details and any help that we needed. Overall we had a brilliant time there. It’s a great area with plenty to do. Would love to return again.

I, Nigel, live in the UK and own the apartment with my wife Nicola. We purchased this apartment new, and have had many years combining a mixture of both holiday tenants and long term tenants. In between, we use the apartment ourselves. We love the area, and the complex, and have seen both grow and flourish over the years to the beautiful position they are in today.

I have been the Vice President of this holiday complex for around 15 years, and am passionate about it's future and making it the best possible stay you can have. As such, if you require more apartments for block bookings, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to assist.

I am a software company director, and enjoy my spare time renovating and repairing classic jukeboxes, and my 1971 VW camper van.

Why they chose this property

This location is absolutely perfect for holidays, and popular with long term tenants. Away from the high rise resorts closer to the airport, it offers quiet and relaxation, yet is close to all forms of entertainment. Being a 40 min walk or 5 minute drive to the local port of Duquesa is a huge advantage. This marina improves every year, more restaurants opening, and the beach walk from the apartments into the marina is ideal, with a bar every 5-10 mins walk.
We just love the area, and the all round sun.

What makes this property unique

The private sea view and an apartment that is not overlooked is what made us choose this particular one.
The building is split level, so you walk in at ground level by the swimming pool, and without having to use the lift or stairs, you are on the first floor. No-one walking past the balcony making noise, just relaxing..
