Pam & I are retired nurses & also own a house in England. We have been visiting this area of Spain for many years and loved it so much that we now spend almost 6 months of the year here. The house is well equipped and is a real home from home. La Cala village has a beautiful blue-flag beach with a permanent lifeguard during the season. There are also many fiestas and festivals throughout the year and lots of reasonable-priced restaurants in which to eat. We love the location because of the easy access to many popular places like Marbella, Fuengirola, Malaga, and many of the famous 'white villages' including Mijas. I can't recommend this property enough, great location to all Shops and Bars and also very close to the beach which was ideal for 2 elderly parents and also small children. The property had all the amenities within the kitchen, Home from Home. Its up to a very clean standard throughout, and as we didn't use the pool as this time of year can be on the cold side, it was very clean, but the beach is only 5 min walk away. I would recommend the 19th Hole Bar if you are looking to watch any sports, very friendly, and we did also try Olivia's for one night, was also amazing but quite expensive, we knew this before we booked.
Paul & Pam was very communicative throughout and always happy to help when needed, and very responsive.
Would Def Go back and would recommend.
Lovely spacious house in La Cala great location
(4 Hard Working Adults ) We were Looking for an easy relaxing holiday and were very pleased to find this villa which ticked all the boxes.
The villa was very clean on arrival and offered everything we needed well equipped and maintained to a high standard. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious as was the rest of the property . Lovely garden area to the back with large table and chairs for dining plus sunbeds for relaxation. The large pool which is situated across from the property was very clean and had plenty of sun beds. The villa is in a fabulous location within few minutes walk of the beach , cafes , restaurants and bars . Having a large supermarket within two minutes walk from the villa was extremely handy they stocked everything we required. We all had a fabulous time very relaxing holiday just what we all needed. Communications with the management was extremely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely hire this villa again and recommend to family and friends . Thank you to Pam and Paul 😄�

the house is in perfect location and lovely condition.all our needs were very well catered for.Just be aware it is on a small but steep hill
Thank you David & Gwen for your review & nice comments. Just wanted to elaborate regarding "the hill" for future guests. There is an incline but from the flat area to the front door it's about a 2 minute walk probably less than 100 meters. Pam & I are in our 70s & don't find it a problem.
Lovely House Great Location
This is our first time at Pam and Pauls house. We took our 2 boys and 1 of their girlfriends with us. The House has plenty of room and a large enough outdoor area for all of us, it was within easy walking distance to the Village of La Cala and shops very close by. We had a car but this is not needed. The Pool was quite large and was never very busy, always managed to get 5 sunbeds. We all had a lovely time and everything about this property was excellent and would highly recommend it.Thank you Pam and Paul
Fantastic Home !
This great house has everything we needed for a perfect holiday. Well located, close to everything, beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and top quality white goods in the kitchen. Good selection of TV channels and best WiFi we’ve ever had in Spain. Huge rear terrace was perfect for lazy days lying in the sun. Roof terrace with amazing views and built in barbecue was great for eating in. Cannot recommend this place enough. Owners are lovely people to deal with too, very communicative and very helpful with any questions we had. Would go back there tomorrow !!

We all absolutely loved it, a real home from home. Your house was spotless when we arrived, the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The terrace was where we spent the most time. Ordered a Chinese 2 nights and an Indian 1 night (so good)
It was so close to everything, we travelled a bit got buses everywhere! Especially loved old town Mijas! So just want to say a big thank you and hopefully we get to stay again in the future.

La Cala was originally a fishing village, now it has developed into a vibrant and busy town which has managed to maintain a lot of it's original character.
La Cala has all the amenities required. Several banks, 3 large supermarkets, lots of bars and restaurants including Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Spanish, Thai.
Live music at several bars. Nightly entertainment including Flamenco at The Grand Hotel non residents welcome.
Hairdressers and Beauticians within walking distance.

Booking Notes: Local agents will perform a meet & greet service in La Cala to hand over the keys and introduce you to the property 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking with the outstanding balance paid 6 weeks before arrival plus a £200 damage deposit which will be refunded within 7 days of departure. Payment can be made in Euros or Sterling via electronic bank transfer or Paypal (which accepts all major credit cards 3% surcharge) Fee to be paid by guest.
