Your first impressions will be the stunning location – certainly the best in Lozenets, and one of the best on the Black Sea.
Samara apartment looks out over the turquoise sea stretching off to a distant horizon. From the bedroom windows your view is of the expanse of Lozenets Beach immediately below you. Just walk down the path and you are on a beautiful sandy beach.
The apartment has two spacious bedrooms (each sleeps 3) and two bathrooms (one en suite). The lounge/dining room has two sofas, which convert to two beds, and the kitchen is equipped with an oven, electric hob, fridge and washing machine. One bedroom has duel aspects with balcony and window, the second bedroom has a large panoramic window. All rooms have air conditioning.
Samara is in a modern apartment complex situated on a cliff top, with gardens, terrace, outdoor pool (with children’s section) children’s play area, snack bar and restaurant all overlooking the sea.
The centre of Lozenets is a couple of minutes’ walk away.
APARTMENT LAYOUT -: BEDROOM ONE- 1 double bed and 1 single bed, en-suite bathroom
BEDROOM TWO – 1 double bed and 1 single bed
BATHROOM TWO – Adjoining Lounge
LOUNGE – 2 sofas, which convert to 2 beds
TRANSPORT -: A car is not necessary in Lozenets – everything is within an easy walk of the apartment. Lozenets is about one hour’s drive south of Bourgas airport and a private transfer can be arranged for about 70 Euros each way.
BULGARIA -: Tourism is not new to Bulgaria; it used to be the favourite summer destination for the population of Eastern European countries during the communist era.
It is still significantly cheaper than most Mediterranean countries, and the food is excellent, with a lot of it being locally produced.
We traveled from the US to visit family in Bulgaria. This apartment was a great fit for our family. 2 adults and 2 children. The pool and restaurant are a wonderful and relaxing option if youre not feeling like a beach day.
The apartment is well stocked . The light and breeze from the oceanfront bay windows are relaxing and beautiful.
Owner was very responsive to questions. We would return!
The apartment is simply amazing! It has two very large bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms. The lounge and kitchen area are well equipped and fantastic for chilling out in after a busy day sight seeing or the beach. We travelled in October when the weather was cooler and the sun shone everyday we were there. The apartment's unique selling point is its location on the beach and the views from the corner bedroom and the lounge - simply amazing. We would love to return in the summer months when the resort is busier. Thank you Colin for allowing us to stay in your fantastic apartment .
There were only 3 of us, so we had lots of room to spread out. We found everything we needed in the apartment, including a television with about 50 channels and a very fast internet connection.
The view from the window is amazing, it felt like being on a ship!
Lozenets is an ideal base for exploring this part of the Black Sea coast, and we ventured down as far as the Turkish border, visiting several villages on the way.
The apartment was much better than any others we have stayed in, and the view from the corner bedroom was stunning. Even with 6 of us there was plenty of room and lots of cupboard space. We didn’t use the kitchen much with eating out being so cheap, but we made good use of the washing machine. If there had been a drier it would have been even better!
Lozenetz is a buzzing little seaside town with a good choice of restaurants and snack bars. We didn’t spend much time by the swimming pool as the beach was so close by. We had intended to explore the area more, but ended up spending most days on the beach. We shall definitely return – next time for longer!
I recently spent a week in this beautiful apartment, which was most relaxing and enjoyable. Every room in the apartment has a view of the Black Sea, and the sandy beach is just below, down a few steps. We had breakfast on the balcony in the morning and an aperitif in the evening while watching the amazing sunsets.
The apartment is very comfortably furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, where the food is good and very reasonably priced. There is a supermarket close by and a few shops around the attractive square, where one can sit and have a drink and watch the world go by.
The Black Sea is very beautiful with lots of sandy bays, and attractive restaurants overlooking the sea. One day we went on a boat trip along a nearby river, to where it joins the sea.
This holiday was really enjoyable from beginning to end and a real tonic.
It is a very clean, comfortable and well maintained apartment with an amazing sea view. You can find everything you may need there (incl. good air-conditioning and washing machine). It is a perfect location for a family holiday. We have 3 kids (1, 4, 12 years old) and they all loved it. The pool was fun for all of them, the small ones appreciated a little playground located at the pool area. We spent four weeks there and still liked the lunch menu provided by the in-house restaurant! The beach is just 5 minutes walk as well as many nice restaurants - some with kids play areas - and fruit and vegetable stalls etc. There was also a Lunapark close to the place, which became our first evening stop. The staff spoke very good English as well as Russian. We would definitely recommend it especially for families as it is comfortable, bright and quiet at night. Watching frequent fire works from the balcony at night was a great bonus too:-)
Lozenets is an attractive resort with a good balance of small hotels, apartments and family homes; a world away from the sprawling crowded resorts of Sunny Beach and Golden Sands. It is considered by Bulgarians to be one of the best resorts on the coast, attracting many people from Sofia, who often make the 6 hour journey for a weekend on the beach.
Lozenets is at the southern end of the Black Sea coast, towards the Turkish border, so summers tend to be long and sunny. Beaches in Bulgaria are generally good, and Lozenets beach is no exception – a wide stretch of sand about one kilometre long with a few discreet beach bars plus a popular windsurfing centre.
It is a small resort, which comes alive in the summer and is particularly popular with young people and families. In the evenings most of the activity is in the area around the fountain and town square with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants and two night clubs nearby.
