Outside the complex is immaculately maintained in its Andalucian style of white walls, terracotta roofs and courtyards, with water features, landscaped gardens, footpaths & walkways. The complex has two swimming pools (one heated during the winter months) and a children’s pool. Next to the complex is a large supermarket as well as a bar, beauty salon and general store. In the vicinity there are plenty of other bars and restaurants that includes Indian, Italian, Thai and Sushi. The Puerto Banus Marina, Beaches and vibrant night-life is 15 minutes walk away or by taxi. There are also numerous golf courses within easy reach. There is underground secure parking within the complex and a dedicated car parking space available. The apartment is situated on the ground floor close to the entrance/exit of the complex and next to the 24/7 security gatehouse.

This apartment was ideally suited to our needs as family we loved the central location. Beautiful

La Maestranza complex is so beautiful, the grounds and pool area are amazing. Our girls felt at home both in communal areas and in the apartment.English TV was very popular with our girls and they also tried their hand at the variety of board games- even though they were too young to fully understand the games they still tried. The apartment is charming and location to the entrance gate is very good especially getting back late with three little kids.The security of having the porter right next door was great. The terrace is a real sun trap if you want to chill out before heading to the pool. Bedrooms are a good size, the only thing to say is to maybe leave extra sheets for the third bed in the second room(3 kids in our family) but this was not too much of a problem as they are only little. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to chill out in the Spanish sun, families definitely welcome.we will definitely go back again. 5 stars from this family of 5... fabulous

Good size apt for 4 adults

Apt is well-equipped with everything you need. Large living room. 2 swimming pools in the area. Walking distance to restaurants at Centro Plaza, Aloha Gardens, or La Campana. Plus three supermarkets and many small shops. You can walk down to Puerto Banus and the beach (20-25 min). There is also a bus (L4) around the corner that takes you to either Puerto Banus or San Pedro (just over a Euro per person)

Good appartment , nearby restaurants, and teenagers loved the satellite TV for football .

Spacious 2 bed appartment .

Good sized pools with plenty of space to swim.

Local shops and bars within walking distance.

We didn't have a car and had a relaxing holiday .

15-20 minute walk to the port - nice during the day but not so nice at night.

Will go back again .

We really loved our stay here. Would highly recommend.

I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks this Summer with my husband and 2 children aged 7 and 9. It was the perfect place to holiday.The apartment was spotlessley clean and had everything we needed. An added bonus was it had 2 bathrooms and came with Wi-Fi and every tv channel you could want. The complex itself was really nice. 3 pools for the children to play in and really friendly staff . It felt very safe and our apartment was next door to the security office which gave us that extra security. The mercadona is next door along with a chemist, bar and ice cream shop. There are many lovely resteraunts right beside La Maestranza and it is only a 15 min walk to the port itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment for a sunshine break

My wife and I stayed at this apartment and we couldn't have asked for more. The apartment was spotlessly clean, which is an absolute must for the wife. The apartment itself is spacious and light, with everything we needed, including beach towels. The complex itself was lovely and quiet, given it was half term, and we were able to spend time relaxing around the pool. Great communication from the owner ahead of the trip, which was very useful as it was our first visit to the area. Will definitely be going back.

Location

Coast/Beach:

Puerto Banus Marina and its golden beaches are 15 minutes walk away/2km or <5€ by taxi

Travel:

Malaga Airport is 45 minutes drive away/61km. Car Hire is recommended and can be arranged at 15% discounts to advertised prices and likely that hiring a car will be more cost effective than a taxi. Alternatively taking a taxi journey will cost approx 90€ each way. Pre booked transfers will be less than this with further discounts for round trips. There is also a direct bus from the airport to Marbella with a shorter taxi transfer to La Maestranza.
