Sleeps 10 - ideal for large family group - 5 bedrooms + 4 bathrooms.

Private garden and exclusive use swimming pool - NOT shared by others.

Pool open from late April and suitable for use until end October.

First floor: 2 x Double Master Bedrooms en-suites, with Mediterranean views. 1 x double & 1 x twin bedroom, plus family shower-room & WC. Cot and high chair.

Ground floor: Designer kitchen, granite work tops and island. Through dining room & lounge leading to large sun terrace for al fresco meals etc. Double bedroom, separate WC and shower. WiFi / Broadband and Phone.

Child-friendly equipment supplied at no extra cost.

Our property has been in our family since 1982 and has hosted many happy guests in the last 40 years.

Great house in a lovely part of the world

We had a fantastic time here exploring this lovely part of the world for a week. The house has everything it promised, and the great pool was even warmer than expected! The villages along the coast are well worth a visit, particularly Collioure, and the sea is suitable for all ages. A trip into Spain is a definite possibility, as is relaxing round the pool and short strolls into the village for coffee, drinks and dinner. Will hopefully be back one day!

A perfect stay

We had the most agreable stay in the farmhouse, everything was just perfect and very well organized. The house is very nice and the place quiet and lovely. The owner are more than friendly, we will come again!

Great property. Would recommend to friends.

In short the house provided everything that was advertised and expected; significant pool, grounds, amenities, modern kitchen. The location was great as we had easy access to restaurants in the village as well as villages close by. As we are avide hikers, we could access numerous trails required little driving time. Before our vacation, the owners readily answered all questions that we had about the property.

Beautiful, Relaxing Stay in a Private Villa

We stayed at Roussillion Farmhouse for the month of November this year. We had a fabulous time. Although there are other houses on the property, you feel like you are in your own private oasis. The backyard is reserved for you and your guests, and the hedges provide complete privacy. The pool is great, with lots of sun chairs for relaxing with a good book. The house is lovely and very high-end. The kitchen was well-equipped. There are lots of showers, and one tub. Derek, the caretaker, was very helpful when we had questions. Paul and Annette did a great job of answering any questions we had, via email, before we arrived. The dishwasher, washing machine, free WIFI, and free calls to landlines were all wonderful additions that we might not have looked for, but very much appreciated having when it came down to it! Villelongue-dels-monts was a very nice town. The people were all very friendly. We rented bicycles and were able to bike to the next town (Laroque) where there is a great bakery, a library, and some art classes. I would recommend a car for staying at this villa. A car is very handy for driving to the beach. (The owners recommend Argeles-sur-Mer, but we preferred the beach just one town north of Argeles. St. Cyprien has lovely, fine sand on the beaches.). You are also just a 10 minute drive to Spain! You can take the very scenic, oceanside drive to Spain, or the quick 3-lane freeway drive. (Food and gas is less expensive in Spain.) All in all, this is a wonderful place for a relaxing stay in Southern France.

Beautiful property and setting

My family and I stayed here during the last two weeks in October and it was superb. The accommodation was excellent and well maintained. Good sized bedrooms, bathrooms and grest dining spaces - indoor and out. Dealing with Paul and Annette was a pleasure. On arrival we were met by Derek, the house keeper. He showed us round the property and gave us a few ideas of where to go in the area. The village is only a few minutes walk, the people were very friendly and after a few days the local shop keeper even kept crossiants for us. La Pieranne is a lovely resturant, the food is great and Peter and Ann are the perfect hosts. There is plenty to see and do in the area, a one hour drive takes you into the Pyrenees and the magnificent Canigou and the Abbey of St. Martin. There are lots of fishing villages on the coast and the drive along the coast from Argeles to Port Bou in Spain is beautiful. Carcassonne is well worth a trip, as is the Dali museum in Figueres. All in all a great base to stay and explore a beautiful part of the world.

At some stage we might even spend more time in France - as opposed to the wet and colder climate of Lancashire, UK! We have had the benefit of bringing up our son, Luke, in France and he loves the region for the sun, the sea, the mountains and the outdoor life. He learnt to windsurf, water ski, snow ski / board, mountain bike, cook and the art of hospitality. Why they chose this property

What a lovely region - close to Spanish border and full of Catalan culture. Must visit Collioure - famous by Picasso, Matisse etc. Easy access from UK via numerous local airports - such as Girona, Spain (60mins).

Set is quiet village, within walking distance of restaurants, bar and shop (5mins) and just 10 mins in car to nearest beaches at Argeles Sur Mer, and 20mins to Spain.
