These properties are situated on the top (3rd floor) and accessed by steps - totally worth it for the stunning view. The majority of properties on Ciovo and in the area don't reach more than 3 floors - thankfully. There is no lift in the majority of buildings on Ciovo. If you think you might be concerned about them I do manage other properties on the 1st floor - let me know if you have any questions.
Passionate about Croatia and traveling in general, I love this area of the country as there is so much to see and do, it's the perfect hub for exploring more of the Dalmatia area, plus it's right on the beach. Happy to help with your plans any way that I can. Feel free to call or email me.

The views from the apartments is spectacular, waking up each morning to them is a delight. Right beside the beach and local amenities. Great location on the island.
Just to let you know that our week at Apartment 19 was absolutely great. Accommodation, facilities, and position excellent, which together with Josipa's friendly welcome, and assistance, all combined to ensure our long awaited family holiday was enjoyable, and relaxing. Looks as though we chose the "right week" as well regarding weather, which was great all week, and looking pretty stormy for this one !
Local restaurants, beaches, and Cocktail bars, particularly on Wold Cup Football opening night, we're very vibrant, and also added to the relaxed, and enjoyable local atmosphere.
So, thank you for the facilities provided by No 19, and look forward to returning at some stage in the future.

Beautiful appartment, beautiful part of Croatia, fantastic holiday!
Firstly I'd like to thank you for renting us this exceptionally clean, spacious and well located appartment. The views are fantastic and it's proximity to everything is great. I honestly did not want to leave!
Ciovo is a fun, friendly beach town with lots of families and young people alike. Days are spent relaxing on the beach and swimming in the sea and evenings are spent in the many beach bars and concerts; or just dining in one of the resturants. We liked eating in 'Leonardo's' a pizza place by the marina, great stone-baked pizzas for about 3 pounds! I would advise people to bring a phrase book though as most Croatians do not speak English. The boat into Trogir is a fun inexpensive way to see this wonderful city. Trogir is a must see. The tiny cobbled streets are marvelous and the terraces are great to get a bite to eat or sip a cocktail. And the ice-cream is delicious! We went on one of the island hoping day trips and visited Solta and Medena, they were just beautiful and unspoilt. The week we were there must have been the hottest week all year, so the air conditioning was a life saver. Having a washing machine was great too, and the clothes literally dried in 10 minutes out on the balcony!
All-in-all this was a truly wonderful experience in which I have great memories. I have fallen in love with this part of the world and hope to return one day.
Thanks Alison, all the best to you.......
Thanks for a excellent stay in the 8b apartment!! We stayed 3 persons for 3 weeks and 12 days in the middle of the stay we were 5 persons. We really enjoy the stay! The apartment and neighbourhood was great. Especially the well equipped (almost new) apartment, nice terrace, nice bath/water and Trogir (market in the mornings and walks in the evenings)..
In Okrug we can recommend Katrina's (2 minutes walk) for the dinners and the excellent service and Leonardo's (in the harbour) for pizza, sallads, etc in the middle of the day.
In Trogir we can recommend the restaurant The End (recommended in the Welcome pack) and we think almost all places for ice-cream and refreshments.
To buy food we recommend Kerum which is located across the street from the main beach.
One day we took a full-day boat trip (Okrug-Solta-Okrug)wich was very worth it's price and all-inclusive with refreshment (incl local drinks) and food (grilled fish). Highly recommended! It was the same nice boat with wooden deck that was used for taxi in the evenings and the tour started and ended in the harbour in Okrug.
But for other excursions the heat stopped us. We only managed bath, relaxing in sun/shadow, eating/drinking (what can be better than a half litre of Karlovacko and a pizza or sallad in the shadow at Leonardo's in the middle of the day), relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking view (incl sunset over the sea and mountains) at the terrace in the evenings and relaxing walks in the evenings (watch out for the traffic!!)
The service in the apartment from Vlado must of course be mentioned as well. Nothing was impossible for him!!.

Dear Alison, I would like to thank you for my recent stay with my friend in your apartment in Croatia. It was indeed very comfortable, bright and airy, with a wonderful view of the bay from our living room window, a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and the apartment was spotlessly clean. To be so near the beach was great, only five minutes away and only stunning. The beach cafes were great, we had really good lunches and so affordable. With many restaurants to choose from our favourite was Leonardos - where we were dined most nights. We loved its style, and the food and wine was really excellent - we enjoyed the chat with the staff who were very friendly. We always took the boat taxi to Trogir, a 20 minute trip to a beautiful town, well worth a visit, again excellent restaurants and the markets were great. We also visited the World Heritage site at Krka. That trip was well worth the journey as it was one of the most beautiful places I have visited. We also stopped in a Vineyard on the way home, so we all arrived really happy and relaxed to a very comfortable apartment.. Overall our holiday was really wonderful, we intend to go back again next year. I do hope we left the apartment as clean as we found it as it is hard to reach your high standards.
From the outside this wasn't the prettiest apartment, but inside it had everything we needed for a few days stay. Clean and comfortable , although an extremely squeaky mattress and the 2nd bedroom in the mezzanine level would not be suitable for adults, due to the sloping ceiling - our teenage kids managed ok though.
Amenities were good, and it was close to the quieter end of the beach and only a short walk to the water taxi to Trogir, which was great in the evenings for a meal and wander round the cobbled streets.
The apt is in wonderful location on Ciovo island near Trogir. The apt itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, furnished with everything we needed including air-conditioning! Balcony has a spectacular view of the sea. 5 minutes walk away is the stunning beach with a host of restaurants and bars - it really is the perfect location. Safe, relaxed, and convenient. The wonderful mediaeval town of Trogir is 5 min drive away, well worth a few visits by day and night. I can't recommend this apt and little island enough.
I travelled to Ciovo in June 2015 and had such a great, relaxing and fun holiday. The weather was amazing with temperatures averaging 33 deg C and the apartment was in the most perfect location with a local shop, the beach and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. The apartment had everything we needed to make our holiday effortless and enjoyable. The balcony was huge and overlooked the most amazing views of the Adriatic. There was a large 6 seater table, sun loungers and still plenty of room on the balcony. We travelled with a group and spent so many nights sitting out there for a game of cards and a bottle of wine. We cooked for 8 people one night and were short of nothing in the kitchen, even the herbs were well stocked. There was a thunderstorm another night so we sat in and watched one of the many DVD’s that were thoughtfully provided for all ages.
Alison had recommended activities and left details of local amenities in the apartment which saved us a lot of bother. We walked 5 mins towards the beach bars to get to a taxi boat that travels over and back, all day every day, to Trogir. Trogir was one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to and the Croatians are very friendly and are happy for you to walk around shops just looking and not buying. I’ve been to places in the world where you are constantly approached to spend money and Croatia couldn’t be further from that.
We rented a car with intensions to travel around a bit but we ended up staying local most days. We did however find a beach called Duga which was a 10 minute drive away and we ended up going back there a lot, it was spectacular. The drive to Duga was along a narrow road lined with olive trees and stone walls and the soil was a reddish colour. The car park was sheltered with fig trees and olive trees and had huge aloe vera plants in it. There was a little restaurant there for refreshments and the snorkelling was great.
We eat in Leonardo’s a lot cause the food was great and there was a real nice vibe there. The beach bars are a bit of fun too, some have music and arcade games and others are just quiet places to sit with your feet in the see enjoying a pint. There really is something for everyone.
I was so happy with my holiday that when I returned from Croatia I contacted Alison to book a longer break for next year. I plan on doing scuba diving and a visit to the Blue Cave as well as Kirka park. I can’t wait to return and I’m relieved that I found the perfect holiday.
