We are two friends who live in England (respectively in Sussex and Devon) who have known each other and worked together for almost 20 years and own adjoining apartments in Chamonix. We and our families all love the outdoors - particularly the mountains - and have numerous dogs, horses and other animals between us.

Why Francis chose Chamonix
Chamonix is a unique mountain resort - not only because it stands beneath Mont Blanc. It is equally busy and enjoyable in Summer and Winter with outdoor activities suited for all ages and abilities, and places to relax, eat or shop in abundance. Barely an hour from Geneva it is extremely accessible, while the variety of other resorts, towns and mountain areas that are themselves within an hour of Chamonix are too many to mention here. It is easy to find yourself in France, Italy and Switzerland all in the same day. The quiet village of Les Praz is right next to the golf course and the Flegere lift. It is a pleasant 20 minute walk into Chamonix centre or a matter of minutes on the free train and bus services.
What makes this Apartment unique
The properties enjoy the benefits of being in Les Praz which has its own shops and good restaurants as well as access to the skiing, golf and other outdoor activities - all still just a few minutes from Chamonix centre. The two properties can be rented together or individually - meaning that they can accommodate larger groups with plenty of space for everyone. The rooms are all very well sized and with good facilities in each apartment. Coming back to Chamonix, whether in the ski season or in Summer is truly like coming home.

Return visit just as good as first!
This is a great place to stay when visiting chamonix. Apartment is really nice, and Les Praz is handy spot, out of the centre but close enough to be convenient. The train is right next door to get up or down the valley, buses close and a pleasant 20 min strole to the centre along the river. Added bonus is one of the best little pizza places is 2 mins away (can't recall name but it's just along the main road back to chamonix) - a real local gem!
We're very happy that you enjoyed your return stay at Eden Apartments. The pizza restaurant you mention is called 'La Cremerie du Moulin', which is run by a lovely French family and - as you say - is very close to the apartment. We look forward to welcoming you back again.
Nice and clean
We had a wonderful stay at Eden Appartments in les Praz de Chamonix. A Nice and clean appartement and we made excellent walkings in the mountains with the kids.
We absolutely loved our stay at Stag Pollaigh. ?spelling!
The apartment more than fulfilled all of our expectations. We loved the peaceful village atmosphere and the walk along the river into town. We had access to so many walks from La Flegere cabin lift. The local restaurants were authentic, delicious and reasonably priced. We are cyclists but we love walking too. This place is a Mecca for both.
well presented and conveniently located Les Praz / Chamonix appartment
We have just come back from a late week's skiing and stayed in Stac Pollaidh / Eden Appartments.
The apartment is perfectly located within a minute's walk of the Flegere cable car. We used the Ravanel ski shop nearby; this combination made everything very easy. Each morning we strolled to the local bakery to get fresh croissants and bread.
The apartment has generous sized bedrooms and three bath / showers plus a separate loo so there is no need to queue for that well earned bath!
The kitchen / living area is well equipped and we enjoyed all being together as a family...mum and dad cooking..boys seemingly revising.
Some days we used the Flegere lift, others we drove to Brevant or Le Tour. The Grands Montets is just up the road.
We had a fabulous fireside meal at The Cabane which is a 5 minute walk and reasonably price for the quality provided. We also had a traditional fondu in the main town after a food shop at the large Super U.
We will definitely return.

The property is maintained to a very high standard and was more than spacious for seven of us. Having the use of the hotel bar and restaurant is a plus - the food is amazing! The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need to self cater and is in easy walking distance from the village shop for fresh bread, milk, croissants, meats etc. You get the best of both at the Eden, quiet and beautiful in Le Praz with the busy apres ski scene just a short train ride. This was perfect for all our family (teenage boys included). Would highly recommend this accommodation, the Eden and Chamonix.

Comfortable and welcoming with a lovely view.
Lovely apartment in a great location just outside central Chamonix (which was easily accessible on the train). We visited in the summer and the apartment was in a good spot for walkers, hikers, bikers, golfers and families.
We were running a little late to our ETA so we texted Alex (property manager on the ground) and he happily met us when we eventually got there. Alex showed us in and talked us through some of the places/attractions nearby and the public transport options. Very helpful.
There was plenty of space in the apartment for our party of four adults and two littlees (under 4) and plenty of room for parking. Well stocked (saucepans, cutlery etc) and very clean kitchen with comfortable living area. Apartment was lovely and warm - a nice contrast to our (unfortunately) grey summer days.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to the Alps.

Les Praz is close to Chamonix, which is 88 kilometres from Geneva International Airport where taxis and rental cars are available for hire. Buses operate frequently throughout the day from the airport to Chamonix taking around 1.25 hours. Transfer buses can also be booked – you will be met at the airport and dropped off at your accommodation. Regular urban transport serves the Chamonix Valley and ski areas. It is free from Servoz to Le Tour for holders of the Carte d’Hôte pass or ski-lift pass.
Les Praz village - a 2-minute walk - has a grocery store, newsagents, ski shop and restaurants. Chamonix town centre is only a 15-20 minute walk away or 2-kilometers by car. Here you will find a good selection of shops including supermarkets, banks, equipment hire and outdoor shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and casino.
Breakfast can be taken in the Hotel Eden. Just let the Hotel know on arrival if you'd like to take advantage of this. Meals can also be enjoyed in the Hotel’s restaurant - lunch (in the summer) and dinner on the terrace or restaurant with views of Mont Blanc. Or choose from a number of good restaurants within walking distance of the apartments.
The sports centre in Chamonix has indoor and outdoor pools, diving area, slides and a solarium, which provides fun for the whole family. There are also climbing walls, tennis and squash courts and an ice rink where you can watch ice hockey matches and support the local team, Les Chamois.
In the winter, as well as skiing and snowboarding, there is a wide network of cross-country trails, husky dog sledging, para gliding and snow shoeing. In the summer, you can join numerous beautiful hiking and mountain bike trails from just outside the door.
Booking Notes: To secure your booking we will require payment of a deposit of 50% of the rental cost. Once we have received a completed booking form or online form, we will contact you to arrange payment of the deposit. The balance becomes due 6 weeks prior to arrival. We can only hold a provisional booking for 24 hours. If your booking is to commence within 6 weeks, the full amount is payable. A Good House Keeping Deposit (GHD) of £250 is also required before your holiday commences. Changeover Day: You can arrive at your accommodation after 1600 on the start date of your holiday and you must have vacated the property by 1100 on your final day. Notes on prices: All prices include TVA at 10%, the French equivalent of VAT.
