We had a lovely stay - the cottage is spotlessly clean, very well appointed, comfortable and cosy.
Parking and checking-in very straightforward and a great location for visiting Stratford and surrounding villages, with gorgeous countryside around. Didn't use the garden but grounds are attractive and very well kept.
Thoughtful welcoming touches of tea and fresh juice provided - thank you, would definitely stay again and recommend the cottage to anyone needing a base to see Shakespeare Country.
Very nice property. Enjoyed our stay!
Everything was perfect - clean and well furnished. Very suitable location in calm place near the town. Best recommends!

My husband and I booked this charming cottage for three weeks after reading about it's location and positive reviews on VRBO.
We arrived to find the cottage much as described with the addition of welcoming fresh flowers and the essentials for breakfast eliminating the necessity of a trip to the shops - a welcome and thoughtful touch, much appreciated after a long flight and drive.
We had to call in a neighbour to help us access the internet connection.
When I put my head on the pillow, I was aware of a strong chemical scent emanating from the pillow - no matter, I would choose another pillow, same noxious scent. On to the cushions in the lounge, same scent, though to a lesser extent. I could not discern whether this scent would be from a laundry product or a spray-on product.
When trying to store items in the refrigerator, we noticed that the storage shelf for the tall bottles on the small refrigerator door was falling off its bracket holding it on to the door and had been held together with tape. The issue seemed to be not only a broken holder on the storage shelf, but the bracket on the refrigerator door was broken.
Another refrigerator problem was considerable ice build-up in the freezer compartment, preventing the freezer compartment door from closing, further exacerbating the issue.
We advised the owner of the refrigerator problems and she promptly dropped by to defrost the freezer compartment, but the broken shelf could not be repaired, necessitating the storing of tall bottles on their sides on a shelf.
The upstairs sink was very slow to drain, this too was taken care of by the owner while she was defrosting the refrigerator.
There was a very audible creaky noise on the upstairs landing and first stair, such that it would awaken someone at night. I'm surprised that no one had mentioned this in the past. I would imagine that this would be a quick fix.
The kitchen was well equipped; however, much as is the case in many homes, there wasn't one sharp knife.
The tap water was excellent and the water pressure was very good with ample available hot water.
We noted a large selection of DVD's, but the only TV to have a DVD player was in one of the bedrooms; would have been appreciated to watch some of this films on the TV in the lounge.
