About Vicki Burton
I moved to France with my husband in 2012 and rented for a while until we were sure this was the right thing to do. The kids had left home and the dog died so as they say, nothing to stop you from starting a new adventure - and here we are.
Vicki Burton purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Vicki Burton chose Benest
We explored different areas and viewed trillions of properties until we decided on this place. Accessible by car from the uk ports and well served by budget airlines and its a very lovely part of the world. I feel blessed to live in such a lovely place.
What makes this Cottage unique
Very quiet and peaceful apart from the sound of the occasional tractor and the local bird population. Owls are my favorite and of course the cranes make their bi-annual crossing overhead signalling the start and end of summer. Really amazing. Woodpeckers and hoopoes are frequent visitors and red squirrels are also resident which make me ridiculously happy. At night, the stars are wonderfully bright as there is no light pollution. A true rural idyll away from the hustle and bustle should you need to recharge your batteries and just chill whilst remaining close enough to the nearby towns for necessities and local markets.
