The flat is entered through the shared front door which leads into a small hall and the door to your right goes into the cosy lounge/dining area (12 feet.6 by 20 feet ), the lounge has a double sofa/ bed, easy chairs, 40' colour TV/free view, electric fire.The bedroom which leads off from the lounge has a double bed, wardrobe, etc, (all bedding is supplied). The kitchen and bathroom also lead off the lounge. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and fridge, electric kettle etc. The bathroom has a WC, washbasin, bath and fitted shower that works off the bath taps (towels are provided) .The flat has central heating, all electric and gas is included. Free WiFi connection available. Also we supply Coffee, tea and milk for your arrival. We regret we cannot insure your personal belongings.
We are not far from Plymouth and Exeter which are both of historical interest, they can both be reached by car, bus or train.
Should you wish to book for 2017we will only charge 2016 prices , which may be differ, depending on the time of the year.
David & I have been married since 1980. We are both retired now.
David was an Officer in the Merchant Service and I was a receptionist at a busy Peugeot garage in Torquay. (The last of the jobs I had in my career)
Jacqui & David Laing purchased this apartment in 1968
Its a grade 2 listed building circa 1725 and has character and is close to all the local amenities and is an interesting busy area of Town. Which is opposite Mitch Tonk's Seafood Restaurant Rockfish.
Not far from the Town, the Bus and the ferries going to and from Torquay & Dartmouth.
The listing description was accurate, everything was completely as it was described. The flat was clean through out, and well maintained. We were greeted by Jacqui on arrival, and we were made to feel at home. I would and will recommend this holiday flat to everyone.
I come from this part of the country and it is always a pleasure to visit Brixham and the surrounding area. The locals are friendly and helpful, and Brixham is a wonderful place to visit, with its great coastline for swimming and fishing, and also for the excellent countryside.
We had a excellent week here thanks to Jacqui & David, hopefully next time we will stay for two weeks.

we have had our holidays for the last 5 years in this lovely flat. it has everything you need for a brilliant holiday,its home from home and we love it.everything is nearby ,pubs, restarants,and plenty of shops all within walking distance,also the lovely view of the bay.the owners are Jacqui and david who live above,they are a lovely friendly and helpful couple,who are always their to help if needed. we highly recommend this flat so much, we have already booked for our 3 weeks again for next year. thanks Jacqui and david for a brilliant holiday. We booked to stay with 2 children aged 7&8. We were a bit concerned it might me a bit of a squeeze but not at all!. Super living space, well equipped kitchen, plenty of fresh towels and loo rolls (!), powerful shower, extra pillows supplied, comfy beds, tea, coffee, milk and even a bottle of wine left out for us - who could want for more?. The rear courtyard area was perfect for drying wetsuits and storing crab buckets etc. Harbour view from the living room window, perfect location for exploring Brixham. A black-out blind at the internal window would be a great addition (for people staying with children), but had I asked Jacqui I'm sure she would have rustled something up for us. It really is very hard to fault this place... amazing value. Thank you Jacqui & David for having us.
we have had 4 brilliant holidays in this perfect little flat. has everything you would need,its home from home, love the new bathroom,looks great.the flat is the ground floor of a lovely fishermans cottage, the owners living above,are jacque and david they are a lovely couple who couldnt be more helpfull. the flat is in a perfect place for shops bars restarants and of course the beautiful view,we had 3 wouderfull weeks.and have booked again for next year,cant wait. thanks again .jacquie and david.
We had a fantastic holiday in Brixham. The flat was lovely and full of character, the hosts were wonderful and were always around to help with anything and answer any questions. The location is brilliant, we found so much to explore all within walking distance of the flat. We hope to return again next year, and would highly recommend the flat for a wonderful holiday.
The flat is situated over looking the Brixham Fish market and harbour close to all the local amenities such as restaurants and shops.It is very light and airy There are car parks, beaches (5-10 Minutes)and the Napolonic Fort at Berry Head in walking distance (20 - 30 min). Paignton (5 miles approx) has the South Devon Steam Railway and 75 acre Zoo, and large cinema complex. Torquay (11 miles approx) has living coast, Kents Cavern (caves) and live theatre all of which can be reached by, bus or a short ferry trip. Other places of interest nearby include Agatha Christie's home - Greenway, The model village at Babbacombe . You are not far from Dartmoor National Park and Plymouth & Exeter cities.Although we do not have parking, you can buy a weekly ticket which will take you into all the Council owned Car Parks in the Torbay Area.The nearest of which is only seconds away.There are 2 swimming pools in the Town, one indoor ,one outdoor .( We only let Saturday to Saturday ).
