Charming countryside cottage
We had a wonderful New Year stay in a typical farmhouse cottage in the heart of the British countryside. We were hosted by the lovely Sean and his wife who checked us in to ensure we were comfortable ( they live next door) and even bought us butter and eggs on our first morning as they were going to the local shops anyway! The heart of the cottage was the kitchen with its lovely Rayburn range and flagstone flooring. The lounge was a delight with its open traditional Cotswold stone fireplace and comfy armchairs and sofa. The bedrooms were full of character with their timber beams and furniture. Beds all pretty comfortable, bathroom fine although please note this is a bath with shower over and no screen. If you want a taste of the British countryside at its best in a charming cottage, look no further. We would definitely return.

Booked for a Christmas family get together and the cottage was fantastic. The kitchen was perfect for a family dinner and the living room with the open fire was warm and cosy - a perfect Christmas cottage getaway. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating and made sure everything we needed was there.
Would definitely book again and would reccommend.
