Lovely cosy cottage
This is a great cottage. It is bigger than it looks with a beautiful upstairs bedroom and bathroom and a good size downstairs bedroom with ensuite. My dog's cage was able to fit in the downstairs bedroom no problem. The sitting room was comfortable and cosy especially with the log burner lit. The log burner was easy peasy to light and control and was very cheery when it was lit. I loved it! The kitchen had everything you could wish for and the garden is a lovely suntrap. We sat outside and enjoyed the Autumn sunshine while the dog played in the garden. The property was clean and well looked after. All in all it was perfect. Thank you!
First impression not what we imagined. Soon change on entry.
We had a lovely holiday .Our stay was comfortable. Very satisfied with the cottage..Bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water especially in the shower. Love the power shower. All round the cottage very good . Peaceful to sit out in the garden lovely sun trap apart from cold wind at times. Tayport harbour was a favourite with us . Very clean all round the town. Yes there was an upset in road works ,but when taraffic lights introduced problem went.
One of the best we have ever stayed in, in fact the best
It deserves more than 3 stars. We had a super time in Tayport, will certainly stay in Ogilvy Cottage again. Can recommend Cobbies , much better than average, served with a smile and great music on a Thursday
Nice, clean and well equipped, very comfy beds and sunny private garden.
Basically as above, very quite area, great place to stay with the dogs
Will be back
Lovely property in a greal location with everything close by.
The property is set in a very convenient location whereby most things are in walking distance such as the local shops, pubs and takeaways. The Chinese around the corner is excellent. The beach is close by and a local park. Dog walking is very popular and there are so many local walks. Having a cottage that allows dogs is such a positive aspect to a rental property.
The cottage is peaceful with a lovely garden and is all secured. The bedrooms were comfortable and having a TV in one of the rooms was a great bonus. Overall the cottage was cleaned to a very good standard and met all our needs and the kitchen well so equipped. The weather was not good but having the fire in the cottage made the cold days and nights very cosy and relaxing. We really loved being at the cottage and just the whole convenience of the local area made this a perfect break. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Very comfortable and well stocked cottage.
We recently stayed at Ogilvy Cottage with our two dogs. It is surprisingly spacious and is well equipped. Having stayed in numerous holiday lets it has extremely comfortable beds!! The garden is secure and safe for the dogs. The location of the cottage is ideal with lots of great walks. The local Co-op is well stocked, although it does not sell The Times newspaper! However, The Times is sold in the Co-op and the Premier Shop on Castle Street. (I’m sad I know, but I’m retired!).
Our last week was during the “ Beast from the East” and we were unable to start our journey home because of the weather. Anne was very supportive and allowed us to stay on another day. Can’t wait until we are back again at the end of April.
