Why Paul Markey chose Marbella
Our first holiday on the Costa del Sol was in Marbella because we had heard such a lot about it. We loved it so much we bought an apartment there and we have enjoyed some wonderful holidays here ever since. The nearby beach is second to none and the swimming pool is set in beautiful tropical gardens. There are many excellent restaurants and bars close by where the staff and owners are all very friendly and welcoming.
What makes this Apartment unique
This is certainly the place to come for a chilled, relaxing holiday. On the other hand, if you like lots of entertainment and a lively, vibrant nightlife, Puerto Banus is only 15 minutes away. Even though we have been coming here for a number of years, we still find new places to visit, discover different bars & restaurants and get involved in numerous outdoor activities.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Marbella. We loved the apartment great balcony, lots of space, love that it had 2 bathrooms. Quite a walk to town but certainly worth a visit if you want a peaceful holiday. Sergio and Paul are so helpful nothing was too much trouble. Definitely going back.
We found the apartment clean and well stocked and the complex well maintained. Paul was very prompt in answering any initial enquiries we had and Sergio the agent was on hand when we arrived to show us around. Pleasant terrace and pool area,and secure underground car park. You do need a car but only a short drive from restaurants shops and beach. A couple of suggestions however, The leather sofas are very stained and discoloured and therefore have throws over them. Fair enough but we found these throws to be rather tatty and grubby. Could do with being replaced (fairly cheap to pick up from the market )or at least given a wash. Also only a minor point but could benefit from a full length mirror in the apartment, That said we would return, hopefully with the above suggestions considered.

Spacious, good position but needs TLC
Some beddin g torn and stained. No duvet covers for single beds. Dining table had tape over the join to stop it coming apart . Sofas badly stained , cheap cotton throws. Main bedroom bed heads too big for mattress. Over all could be lovely , needs Redecorating. Sorry , but true account .

After the departure of each guest, all linen (both bath and bedroom) is taken away by my Property Managers and sent to a laundry. They have been using the same laundry for the past 7 years and they have never received an adverse comment in respect of the quality of service provided. Both beds and bathrooms are made up with freshly laundered linen prior to guests' arrival.
That said, I have instructed the Property Managers to carry out an inspection of all the linen and, where necessary, to replace any inadequate items found. I was surprised to see that there were no single duvet covers as you acknowledged delivery of additional laundry from the Property Managers during your stay.
The tape on the dining table covering the join (which was only a temporary measure) has now been replaced by 2 catches.
Perfect and as promised, all the comfort we need, quiet en green neighbourhood
We recommend this property for 100%. It is a perfect place to stay, there are a lot of possibilities for excursions as well as in the nature as in the cultural side . Beautifull environment, quiet garden and swimming pool. A car is recommended. We got a warm and efficient welcome when we arrived.

so relaxing and peaceful
We have just returned from Paul's lovely apartment. It was " home from home" as it had everything to make our stay so comfortable and relaxing. The balcony is a real treat as it has sunshine most of the day and also is a great bbq area. The complex is beautifully maintained and very secure. Our flight was delayed on the Friday night but Sergio was very helpful and obliging. Paul was very prompt always with any queries we had and his holiday information sheet was well thought out. We had a wonderful break but would advise renting a car. Avenida del Mar is a very good and accessible carpark for visiting Orange Square etc.
We would also advise a trip to Benhavis! Again we would like to thank Paul for being so helpful and we will definitely return. Angela and Tom

We were looked after from begging to end by the owner himself, he couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.
It was lovely and quiet and a great south facing veranda.
Everything you need was there, and great to have secure parking. You do need a car as we were told before we got there.
It's very convenient to surrounding areas.We will definitely try to get back again next year.

There are several superb beaches close by. The nearest are Playa Casablanca & Playa Fontanilla, both a mere 5 minute drive from the apartment. There one will find beautiful white sand, sunbeds & parasols, all types of water sports & activities and many beach bars serving top quality, inexpensive food & drink.
Malaga Airport is 55 kms.
Car Hire is readily available and highly recommended although the taxi service is top class. Try and use a Car Hire Firm that provides you with a full tank of fuel and asks you to return it full...that way, you only pay for the fuel you use.
There is a regular (non-stop) bus service from the airport to Marbella Bus Station, 3 kms from the apartment.There is also a regular bus service from Marbella to Puerto Banus from outside the apartment complex
Marbella Old Town is 5 kms as is Puerto Banus. Fuengirola is 20kms, Benalmadena is 35kms and Malaga City is 60kms. Estepona is 20kms and Gibraltar is 50kms.
Traditional White Villages: Istan - 14kms, Benahavis - 20kms, Ojen - 12kms, Mijas - 30kms.
Supersol & Lidl are a 2 minute drive away for groceries and off licence. Both are open from 9am to 9pm and neither close for the siesta.
There are 2 major shopping malls - La Canada is 5/10 mins away as is El Corte Ingles in Puerto Banus.
Both Marbella & Puerto Banus have numerous upmarket designer shops and boutiques.
There are several bars & restaurants within a 2 minute drive.
Street Markets are a must....all early morning to early afternoon. Marbella is Monday & Friday, Tuesday is Fuengirola and Benahavis, Wednesday is Estepona & Benalmadena Costa, Thursday is San Pedro, Saturday is Puerto Banus and Sunday is Estepona Port.
For the young (and young at heart), Tivoli World, the Zoo, a Crocodile Park, the Aqua Park and a breathtaking Cable Car are a 30 minute drive away in the direction of Torremolinos.
Selwo Safari Park is in the opposite direction near Estepona.
