About Jane Cant
Hi, I have never used an agent, as part of the fun for me is to meet my guests when they arrive at the cottage. To show them around and be there so that I can answer any queries or give them any help they may need. I have had so many lovely comments and repeat business, so I must be doing something right! I have lived in Scotland all my life and love it, with my husband ( who speaks German)) we live nearby but not in Crieff. Our family are all grown up and we have grandchildren, dogs and hens, all spoilt in that order!...we both have a good knowledge of the surrounding area, and we look forward to meeting you. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Jane

Why Jane Cant chose Crieff
We lived there for many years, so it is not an unloved cottage, I love it if I have time before my visitors arrive, to just sit in the garden and have a cup of tea and admire the garden, which I have put a lot of work in to. Crieff is great there are so many things to see in the surrounding area, there is a country cottage feel, but yet you are minutes from the town centre. Access to Edinburgh and Glasgow are also within easy reach with good links to public transport, so you never feel remote while staying at Ivy Cottage.

A great base for touring the area
Great location for visiting Perthshire and good places to eat in Crieff.
Well equipped, querky quaint and cosy. A lovely garden to relax in. The conservatory is a bonus for evenings sipping wine and meals.
Jane is very helpful and accommodating.
Thank you both so much for choosing Ivy cottage. You had without doubt wonderful weather Also thanks for your kind words about the cottage and myself. I really enjoy meeting my guests. Also thanks for the present you left and for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy. Please come back !
This was my 3rd time staying in Ivy Cottage and it was fantastic as always. You couldn't ask for a more cosy and homely cottage. A credit to Jane for all her hard work. Highly recommended.
Excellent base for exploring the area.
The cottage is very interesting with plenty of character. It took me a day or two to get used to the noise you get from an old building but this is something I like. Modern buildings, generally, don't make much noise. The garden was good with plenty of birds visiting through the whole day. There is loads of info in the cottage if you don't know the area and the owner will find you any info that isn't there. There are some great walks very close to hand. I saw a good variety whilst waling along the local river Earn. I would stay here again the next time I want to further explore the area. A week isn't enough. Thanks you Mrs Cant for your attention to detail.
Jane is great, nothing is too much trouble
The fact that we have been coming for years sometimes two or three times a year, speaks volumes for what we think . It's ideal for a relaxing holiday surrounded by beautiful countryside
Thank you so much for your kind words. You are both the perfect guests.. You gave me a lovely ornamental cockerel for the garden .. He says the same.. He has watched you go for quite a long time !!
