Parc Wartha is a one-bedroomed apartment in the heart of Mullion village. Part of a traditional house, some of which dates back to the 1600s. Parc Wartha is cosy and characterful with exposed beams and stonework and a wood-burning stove. The east-facing balcony provides an opportunity to have a leisurely breakfast in the sunshine whilst the days activities are planned. The convenient location provides an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful surrounding area on foot. The magnificent coastline is within easy walking distance, revealing unspoilt fishing villages and secluded coves. The Helford River, spectacular Kynance Cove, Cadgwith Cove and Lizard (Britain's most southerly point) are all a short drive away. Further afield but still within easy reach are popular destinations such as St Ives, St Michael's Mount, the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the Minack Theatre.

About Merryn Regan
We made a life-style change and moved to Mullion with our children ten years ago. We were immediately attracted by the beautiful, imposing building of Parc Wartha, by the pretty, friendly village and the stunning scenery of the peninsula. Over the last nine years we have restored Parc Wartha into a lovely family home and holiday let, and have enjoyed sharing our love of our home and Mullion with our visitors.
Merryn Regan purchased this Apartment in 2003
Why Merryn Regan chose Mullion
Mullion is a friendly and lively place. Being the largest village in Cornwall there are plenty of amenities and things to do. It is well equipped with inns and restaurants, local supermarkets, art galleries, a craft centre, a heritage centre and a monthly farmers market. There is a calender of annual events to appeal to wide sections of the community and to visitors alike. These include the scarecrow spectacular (August Bank Holiday weekend), and Harbour Day amongst many others. The village is steeped in history arising from its cove and spectacular harbour, its geology and church. The unique scenery of the Lizard Peninsula boasts beautiful coastal walks, delightful gardens, magnificent beaches and traditional fishing villages.
What makes this Apartment unique
Parc Wartha enjoys a central but quiet, tucked away position in the heart of Mullion village. It is just 50yds from shops, restaurants, the church and the village's two pubs and other amenities. Polurrian beach and coastal path are a pretty 20 minute walk away, and the harbour and Poldhu beach are also just a mile away. There is parking in the courtyard, and so much that is immediately available that some visitors to Parc Wartha do not use the car for the whole of their stay.

Great Little Place
I really enjoyed staying here, it was a very nice touch of the owners to leave out some Christmas cake, pot of tea and the log fire on. The apartment is simple yet cosy and would stay again.
Situated in the centre of Mullion it is easy to access local shop and pubs. Spacious for two people and full of character.
Lived up to all expectations and well worth a visit
Had an enjoyable short break. Loved the cosy property. Everything was supplied, plenty of hot water, milk in the fridge and a very welcome cream tea!
Comfy bed and fully equipped kitchen/ living room. There’s a log burner if it’s chilly and a sunny outside deck area. Parking space.
Plenty of good walks close by and easy drive to lots of places of interests
Very welcoming hosts. Thank you.
Absolutely stunning cottage with everything you need to make you feel at home . With an added extra of cream tea waiting for us . The bed is the comfiest I've ever slept in . The only downside was the steps they are really steep and I suffer with my back and legs so this was my only bad point . The cottage is in the perfect location to explore many places around both walking and driving . And we made sure we explored as much as we could .There's a spar just across the road that opens from 6 in a morning for your daily needs. The curry company serve fabulous curry and it's in the courtyard so you don't have to walk far or a chip shop a short walk away . All in all we had a fantastic week away in a fantastic location an the perfect cottage . Thank you for having us .xx
The accommodation was perfect, the weather was very good and we had a wonderful time exploring.
Lovely apartment, friendly hosts. Very central for shop and eating places. Only downside was the weather
Polurrian beach is a lovely twenty minute walk away. Poldhu beach (good for surfing) and Mullion Cove are also one mile from the village centre.
The nearest airport is Newquay. The nearest railway station is Redruth. Once you have arrived everything is on your doorstep and some of our guests do not use their car at all during their stay.
Truro and Penzance are about 25 miles away, Falmouth 15 and St Ives about 20 miles. The Eden Project is about 30 miles from Mullion.
There are two riding schools, one on the edge of Mullion and one a few minutes drive away at Poltesco. There is surfing tuition at Poldhu Cove and Kayaking and other water-based activities and boat trips available at Mullion Cove.
