Lynden Lea is a comfortable and well equipped, semi-detached self catering holiday bungalow in a lovely rural setting, situated in the hills one mile from the historic market town of Ledbury in Herefordshire. Extensive views from the Iron Age hillfort opposite include the Malvern Hills, Eastnor, Ledbury and the Herefordshire Plain. Malvern is seven miles away and the cathedral cities of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester are approximately sixteen miles distant. Stratford-upon-Avon is about one hour's drive and Birmingham airport one and a half hours by motorway. The bungalow stands within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by a network of public footpaths giving access to woodland, open fields and parkland. The town of Ledbury is famous for its half-timbered 'black and white' buildings - The Market Hall, Butchers Row House, The Old Grammar School and many others, especially along the narrow cobbled 'Church Lane'. Lovely Bungalow in a peaceful location
Really lovely holiday. Plenty to see and do in the area, and the holiday home contained all of the things to make the stay enjoyable.
This bungalow is very well equipped. It has everything you need and more. It has handrails all round and for someone who is a bit unsteady this bungalow is ideal. But the very best thing about this bungalow is the tranquillity. There is a lovely garden and patio where you can sit and the only sound you will here is the birdsong. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
Clean warm comfortable well stocked good location.
We stayed Feb 18 for 4 weeks. Previous reviews give an excellent account of this rental. Not much more to add. Must be a delightful place Spring , Summer or Autumn. Would we stay here again? Most definitely.
Spacious with comfortable chairs
Quiet but within walking distance of Ledbury. Spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Convenient location for exploring the area. Very welcome drinks, biscuits etc for us and well filled bird feeders for all the bluetits.
Many thanks for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday and hope to see you at Lynden Lea again.
A stunning cottage
My sister and I had a thoroughly enjoyable half term break. The cottage was superb and spacious. Everything we required was in the cottage and the garden provided a peaceful place to read and relax. Plenty of walks close by and in walking distance of Ledbury town. Can particularly recommend walking to The Seven Stars, the food was amazing.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're very happy that you enjoyed your holiday and would love to welcome you back to Lynden Lea again in the future.
