Apartment in Puerto Sotogrande, Costa del Sol, Spain - Fantastic Gated Community In The Sought After Area Of Puerto Sotogrande, (southern Spain)

The apartment benefits from HD tv's in every room, a full sky package (including Sky Sports) in the lounge, a Sonos Sound System, WIFI, air conditioning and heating. We provide all linen and beach towels and hair-dryers too. We have tried to provide everything to help make your stay more comfortable.

The private garden is great for families and privacy and the ground floor terrace offers the benefit of both the sunshine and shade for those who want to soak up the sun whilst staying at the apartment.

About Samantha

We have only just started renting out our Spanish Property (we have others in Suffolk and London which have been rented out through agents) and in 2013 we fully refurbished and decided to rent out our family holiday home so that others could enjoy the delights that Sotogrande has to offer!

We have a great cleaner who will deal with any problems, and a variety of contacts in Spain should there be any emergencies, we are also available in England, should you need any advice.

Samantha purchased this apartment in 1980

Why Samantha chose San Roque

We absolutely love this location, it's beautiful, yet still has enough going on to keep you occupied.

Whether you are a young family, or a more senior person just trying to relax, there is something for everyone.

The area is accessible, yet not the 'touristy' place that you would find in some other areas of Spain, a true gem.

Sotogrande is known as the most exclusive place to go in the country. It's classy and vintage at the same time. It's a private, gated community and we are a stones throw away from the private beach and El Octagano Beach Club. It's heaven!

What makes this apartment unique

We love the proximity to the beach and the sound of the waves at night. It's great for children and it's a very safe, friendly area. The roads have barriers which only let the holiday makers/owners in so there is never any antisocial behaviour.

Our property has been refurbished the way that we would want to live, and we wanted to ensure that people had their home comforts. Hopefully, that's what we've achieved!!

Had a fantastic time in at the apartment, just a stone's thrown from the beach - All of the appliances made the stay really relaxing, the TV was great on the rainy days and everything was in fantastic condition and all furniture really comfy.

Notes on accommodation: The Apartment was refurbished in August 2013 to an extremely high standard. Brand New bathrooms, kitchen, electrics, air conditioning and heating and marble throughout. Outside: There is a private garden and patio, there is a patio table and chairs and sun loungers too. The garden looks out onto the beach and sea and also overlooks a larger shared garden area where children can play. Utility Room: N/A Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and Linen are included and the property will be cleaned before and after the guests stay. For an additional charge Other: Patio and Private garden with sun loungers and external table & chairs.

Great apartment in Sotogrande!

This is our fourth stay in this lovely beach side apartment! It's been great for our family holiday and is so well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are many great restaurants and beach bars close by and it's a great location for exploring the coast both upto Marbella and then Tarifa in the other direction.

We have been coming to Sotogrande for many years and have loved staying in this location. Home from home. We will be back!

Lovely, clean and modern flat. Very well appointed with masses of towels, pots and pans etc. Excellent outdoor seating under shade.

Location was quiet in beautiful gardens. Just right for our three year old to play in. Close to beach club and beach. Easy supermarket shopping within five minutes drive.

Walking distance to two restaurants for breakfast,coffee and casual dining.

We would definitely recommend this property and would say it was the best equipped one we have ever stayed in, home or abroad. Hope to return again soon.

Fab apartment in fab location

We have recently returned from our stay in this home from home apartment. We were a party of 5 adults and the apartment gave us everything we needed, catering for all our individual needs. It is extremely spacious, modern, very nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped and towels, including beach towels and linen were plenty and all good quality. The private garden leads onto communal gardens which leads to the beach which is only a minutes walk. Most mornings we wondered down to the beach, coffee in hand, and watched the fisherman. We have stayed in Sotogrande many times over the past couple of years and this is far the best apartment we have stayed in. The estate of Sotogrande is perfect for families. The location is idyllic but if you want to do some sightseeing then Gibraltar, Tarifa, Cadiz, Estepona, Peurto Bunus and Marbella are all within easy reach. We are sure we will be returning soon.

Excellent apartment!

This is a great apartment. we stayed here with our 3 children. The apartment is clean, modern and very well equipped with excellent 'home standard' linen, towels and kitchen kit - decent saucepans etc. It was really well stocked and there were supplies of most of the basics which is a great help. The owner was on hand promptly to deal with queries. I would book again without hesitation. Its a great location with kids too as you're so close to the beach and tennis club.

Perfect in Every Way!

We had a perfect short weekend break here. A stones throw away from the private beach and beach club where you can relax and enjoy great quality food at perfectly reasonable prices. The apartment is extremely spacious and meticulously maintained with everything you could possibly need for a trip away from home. With the short journey to Gibraltar airport I would definitely recommend to anyone whether it be a quick getaway or a lengthy relaxing holiday.

Delightful Apartment, Idyllic Location

We have just returned from a wonderful relaxing weeks holiday at this delightful apartment. Even in October the weather was good enough to sun bathe in the private garden, well equipped with sun loungers & great for outdoor dining. The beach is just a minutes walk away for a nice morning stroll or cooling afternoon dip in the sea, & being able to lay in bed listening to the waves lapping on the shore was the most incredibly soothing & relaxing sensation. This is a fantastic apartment, fully equipped with everything you might need on your holiday, in an idyllic location. Would happily recommend to family & friends, & we hope to return ourselves again in the future.

Around a 1 minute walk, no more than 50 meters to the beach

You can walk to the local shop, cafe and beach club. There is also a yacht club, tennis club and small shopping area on the 'Port' which is fantastic.


The nearest Airport is Gibraltar (about 20 mins drive)

The other accessible airport is Malaga (About 1.5 - 2 hours)


The area is beautiful, rural but not cut off. There are a lots of things to do and places to go. Most places (including the golf clubs) are no more than a 5-10 minute drive. You can drive to Puerto Banus within around 30 minutes which is very lively. There are some great stops along the way too!!

Further Details:

There are a variety of supermarkets, Just a 5 minute drive to other local villages and restaurants. You can drive to Guadiaro, Torreguadiaro or several of the other small towns which have fantastic, restaurants and shops.La Linea has a Barclays bank and there are several cash points around. The Santa Maria Polo Club is around a 5 minute drive from the Apartment within Sotogrande. It is one of the most renowned Polo Clubs in Europe.
