Three Wells Barn is a new open plan studio in the quiet rural Worcestershire village of Hadzor. It is ideally located for touring the Cotswolds, Malvern Hills or the many National Trust properties in the area. It is a two minute walk from the local golf course. The Wychavon Way passes through the village and there are lots of walks including along the Worcester canal which is just across the fields. The property is separate from our house and guests have their own use of the accommodation on the first floor and the play room and washing machine on the ground floor.

About Lynn Thornes
My wife and I have lived in the medieval village of Hadzor for 20 years. We have three grown up boys who are all at various late stages of their School/University education. I have just retired from being Professor at the University of Birmingham and my wife has also just retired from lecturing in a local college. We love living in the Worcestershire countryside.
Lynn Thornes purchased this Barn in 2013
Why Lynn Thornes chose Droitwich
Our house - Three Wells - is in the middle of the Worcestershire countryside with nearly three green acres of land and is grade 2 listed. We have only just completed the building of our new 'Three Wells Barn' with the beautiful living accommodation on the first floor. It is a short walk away from the house. We are within a short drive of the Cotswolds and there are lots of National Trust properties nearby. Hanbury Hall is within walking distance. The fine city of Worcester is just a 15 minute drive or 8 minute journey on the train from Droitwich station. Droitwich is an old Spa town about 5 minutes by car or a 25 minute walk. There is the Gaudet Luce golf course in Hadzor just a 3 minute walk away - with bar and restaurant.
What makes this Barn unique
Three Wells Barn is fully equipped for your stay with a beautiful open plan design as you can see from the photos. It is approached by a drive off the road with plenty of parking available. We are easy to find in the middle of our tiny village opposite the red letter box. It is likely that you will be woken in the morning by the sheep in the next field!
Lovely setting and lovely hosts.
All you need for a great stay in Worcestershire.
You were the best of guests and I’ve never seen the barn so spotless after guests have left! Come and see us any time!! The new pony has arrived safely, she’s chasing Teddy around the field!
A peaceful Hideaway
The barn is in a lovely lane, it seems to be away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life, yet is close to all the amenities that you need. Lynn and John are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they are only to glad to help with their knowledge. Having the animals around, the ponies Teddy and Sparkles, who are so loving, more akin to faithful dogs they love the attention as does Blue the Dog really does make a difference for animal lovers as does seeing the ducks waddling around!
The Barn itself has everything you need, even spare phone chargers. Its clean, warm and homely. The pictures don't do it justice.
A well needed break away from the stresses of every day life was what was needed...and was exactly what we got, so thank you Lynn and John we look forward to seeing you all again.
You were wonderful guests Amanda. We’re so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. You are welcome back anytime you need a break and as you know, repeat customers get special rates😊.....Sparkle, Teddy and Blue all look forward to seeing you again too. Very Best Wishes from us all at Three Wells, including the waddling ducks xxxx
