A large, modern, well-equipped, 3 double-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and sea views. 5 mins walk to the stunning Praia D'Ana beach and the historic old town of Lagos - voted by Trip Advisor in top 15 world destinations for 2012. Featuring a balcony overlooking a private landscaped garden, swimming pool, toddlers pool, heating, air conditioning, satellite TV/DVD, X-Box, unlimited WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Close by are beautiful beaches, world-class golf courses, wonderful restaurants and bars, shops and supermarkets. 50 mins to Faro.

This modern, well-equipped apartment will comfortably accommodate a family of six and provides easy access for grand parents and toddlers. A great venue for relaxing by the side of the swimming pool or getting out and about exploring the neighboring sights and attractions. Lagos is blessed with nearly 400 wonderful restaurants and a lively night life for the more mature, discerning clientele. Lots of sporting activities; the Algarve is particularly noted for world-class golf courses and surfing. There's also the opportunity to go dolphin watching with specialist companies like Seafaris, charter a yacht with Algarve Yacht Charter or Marina Boat Charters Lagos , go sea kayaking with local companies like Kayak Adventures Lagos where you can explore the dramatic coastline weaving your way through grottoes, caverns and sea stacks. Recently the Algarve has been recognised as an ideal location for cycling particularly out of season when the roads are quiet and the temperatures more suitable. Cycles can be hired from Bike Rental Lagos or Coast Supply Co. Alternative attractions include Zoo de Lagos which is approximately 15 km from the apartment and the hugely popular Slide and Splash, a large water park with slides, pools and rides plus live falconry, reptile and tropical bird shows is just a 30 minute drive. If you are without transport, customers can use the Slide and Splash coaches that collect customers just 500 meters from the apartment. A 40 minute drive will take you to Zoomarine, a family theme park that provide shows including dolphin, seals and sea-lions.

Perfect location

Second time staying at the property and it was just perfect. We made more use of the apartment and pool due to the heat in Portugal. The apartment is very spacious and has all you need in it. The apt is close to shops, bars, restaurants and beach and a nice stroll into the city centre. There are some great walks close by and the views are amazing. The apartment has it all for our family. Guy was brilliant throughout, easy to reach for questions, the information available in the apt is fantastic. The cost for the apartment, I found very reasonable, especially when you look at what you get. You must eat in the restaurants by the apt, fantastic especially the blue whale and the italian, delicious food and service close by if the kids dont want to walk to far. I look forward in returning again very soon. Thanks Guy and family for another fantasic stay.

Five stars! An absolutely wonderful stay!

We had the most amazing stay. A huge thank you to Guy, who is a fabulous host. Guy was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. The pool area was fantastic. Location wise, we couldn’t ask for more: only a few minutes from the beautiful beach and ten minutes to the old town. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The only downside is how sad we were to leave! We definitely intend to revisit. Thank you so much, Guy!

Everything we needed

4 adults on golfing trip. The accommodation was excellent. Comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and good living room area. Communication with the owner was good. A 20 minute walk at most to the heart of Lagos while the local beach was nearby.

Amazing Apartment

We had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for two weeks, it was perfect for us travelling as two couples and would easily accommodate six people as it is so spacious. The owner was very easy to communicate with and there was a very handy folder in the lounge with lots of information. Next door to the apartment are a couple of nice restaurants Don Gull and Onda Norte. The beach and the old town were both easily reached by foot. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous apartment

Owner was extremely easy to deal with. Apartment is huge and spacious. Nice restaurants right beside it. 10-15 min walk to the heart of the old town (with kids walking too) 5min walk to closest beach. Lots of activities around- kayaking and biat trips etc. We parked up our car and didn't use it until we left.

Why they chose this property

Marion and I spent 4 weeks touring Portugal and when we got to Lagos we just couldn't leave. The Backpackers Guide had warned us about this - it described Lagos as a 'black hole' - once you're in there's no leaving! The property is well-located being on the fringes of the old town and having local amenities (shops, restaurants, bars etc) close by. Nearby favourite bars and restaurants within 200 metres of the apartment include Onda Norte, which provides delicious traditional Portuguese and Mediterranean food. Also the Repolho Gastrobar, a Tapas Bar and Restaurant rated by Trip Advisor 14th out of nearly 400 restaurants in Lagos.
