The Nook was a lovely little accommodation that had everything I needed whilst staying in Colchester for Work. Margaret and Nick were both very helpful and friendly.
The Nook, home from home, we enjoyed our stay very much,
Thank you for a lovely stay at The Nook,
Our hosts Nick and Margaret were lovely, the Nook was clean, comfortable, warm quiet, and it was a great location.
The only thing I would suggest is that, replace the dishwasher with a washing machine. Thank you once again we would definitely like to stay there again
Kind regards
Maryrose
The Nook was exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable.....perfect for the two of us. We loved the location: it was about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Colchester which we enjoyed. However, if you are not so keen on the walk, the buses run regularly from the end of the road. Colchester Castle is definitely worth a visit as is the zoo. Margaret was delightful: helpful, friendly and easy to contact in advance of the trip.
An exquisite property, a true home away from home.
Margaret and Nick have thought of everything you may need on home away from home break. The private little garden with French door access gave the lounge an indoors/outdoor feel. Exceptionally clean, high standards all round. Would highly recommend.

About the host
Hosted by Margaret Binns
I have lived in Essex all my life and in Colchester with my family for just over 2 years.
We have recently refurbished The Nook and are very proud of the results and our first guests said "We would like to live here!"
Why they chose this property
We love living in Colchester, having a vibrant, bustling town on our doorstep, yet our neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet.
We have good access to local countryside such as Mersea Island and Dedham. Good road links to go further field and London is 45 minutes away.
