3 bed / 2 bath town house with pool and garden

This bright and modern house has 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room , and a children's twin bedroom on the ground floor along with the family bathroom. On the first floor is the comfortable lounge, dining area, and kitchen with front and rear balconies. The roof terrace has a large dining table, deck chairs and oversized bean bags to enjoy magnificent sunsets over the bay of Alcudia. The property shares communal gardens and a swimming pool with a play park less than 1 minutes walk, and the local beach just 2 minutes walk away. There is a garage with direct access into the house and plenty of space for storing/cleaning/drying wetsuits and sports kit.

Lovely house !

The house is in a great location, just a short walk from the beach and the restaurants.

The resort is low key, which is exactly what we were looking for. Great for a relaxing, quiet holiday and for family with small kids.

We were a party of four ranging from 4 to 84 !

Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.

Lovely food.

The house itself has all the facilities you could possibly need ie well equipped kitchen, two modern bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and modern living room.

The roof terrace is exactly as described and perfect for chilling out in the evening.

Whilst we were there we enjoyed going to the shared swimming pool that we never had to share with anyone (early in the season)!

Everything is provided. Even beach towels, imagine what that saves in your holiday luggage !!! :))

The owner was beyond helpful.

Overall a great holiday. If you are thinking about renting it don't hesitate !

Car hire recommended if you want to see more of the island.

Fabulous holiday in great house

I feel compelled to strongly recommend the Pink House and its owner Louisa.

Communication prior to the holiday was very straight forward and easy, the information provided was precise and effective. When we arrived at the property we found it incredibly clean and tidy (Assume the owners use a local House keeper/cleaner who must be congratulated, the house was spotless).

Whilst you are aware you are staying in somebodies holiday home, the owners have very carefully prepared it in such a way that you feel really welcome.

Very simply things like soap dispensers, loo rolls and spare towels etc. were plenty full.

There was always hot water, the air-conditioning was very effective when needed, the bed was large and very comfortable, there was loads of space in the cupboards and drawers etc etc. Basically, cannot fault the property as a holiday home or the destination of Colonia. Loved it.

Cracking place for a cracking island

What a great house! Set over four floors, from the cool basement which our 4 year old loved as 'his' space up to the roof terrace with the views out to sea and to the rugged mountains behind, this place oozes class. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to go. Colonia is compact, bijou and relaxed - it has a great water front promenade, plenty of resturants and a beach (rough sand) that is perfect for little ones (it's probably too small for teenagers, but there are other beaches near by) as the water is calm, the waves softened by the harbour groynes. The listing description is accurate and the house is well appointed - our kids loved the toy chest and DVDs madde available. Slight concerns over the number of open stairwells available to our toddler were managed by moving chairs to block them off and keeping a beady eye on her movements. If you're looking for nightlife, this is not the place for you, nor is it if you don't want to hire a car. I will definately be recommending this place to friends with young families and older couples.

A large well equipped modern house in an ideal location. This house has everything you could possibly need and more besides.Nicely furnished and lots of extra little touches such as kids toys and DVDS etc.Light and airy rooms and the benefit of a roof terrace with lovely views and a BBQ .We saw some spectacular sunsets and starry skys! Situated in a quiet neighbourhood but close to all amenities. A well equipped supermarket nearby and plenty of good restaurants.The pool is gorgeous and well maintained. I can thoroughly recommend this property.

This quiet C.19th village sits peacefully between the mountains and the bay of Alcudia. The village has a promenade which starts at the harbour and the wonderful Club Nautic restaurant, passes along the sea front with several more bars and cafes and then ends up at the equally fantastic Sa Xarxa Restaurant. There is a small local beach, several children's play parks and a skate park. The village square borders the pretty church which hosts frequent music recitals and fiestas including the annual giant paella night. The village has two small but well stocked supermarkets and a local bakery which opens early to sell bread, cakes and empenadas cooked on the premises. The mountains provide stunning scenery for walks, mountain biking and access to beautiful small bays and beaches. The large beach at Son Serra de Marina is reached on road in 20 minutes or on foot through the nature reserve, and provides great waves for surfing, kite surfing and wind surfing.
