Our Winter Cottage
We rented Kyle View for 3 months whilst our own home was being repaired after flooding. The cottage is brilliant, incredibly cosy with stunning views. Robert and Day are exceptional hosts and made sure we wanted for nothing during our stay. We will always remember our stay with great fondness.
Thank you so much for your kind words. You have been our perfect guests and we are pleased that we were able to help you in your "hour of need". I hope you are pleased to be home.
This cottage is a pleasant and restful place to stay. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. This is important as it is quite a way from places to eat out.
Views from the property are beautiful.
The patio can be a bit slippery when wet - we did have wet weather.
It would be nice to have a bit more information in the cottage about places to shop for food/ eat out etc. There were brochures about tourist attractions.
A lovely place to rest and recharge your batteries!
Kyle cottage is cosy well equipped place , centrally located for doing the NC 500 . It set in the beautiful Kyle of Sutherland. Stunning views.
Highland home from home
This is a lovely spacious cottage - two ensuite bedrooms with three sitting rooms, a kitchen and a big garden. The garden room has magnificent views over the Kyle of Sutherland.
The location is excellent for exploring Sutherland - pretty much everything you would want to see is within an hour to an hour and a half's drive. Highlights for us included Handa Island, a pod of dolphins off Chanonry Point, and Ardvreck Castle.
Robert and Davina were great hosts, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Just perfect - we wanted fir nothing. Felt at home
Cottage beautiful setting well appointed. All you needed was there. Peaceful tranquil and well placed to tour the far north. Can’t praise it highly enough and thanks to you both we had great time.
