Home from home...
We have just returned from Provence.
We had a fantastic time with great weather, food and wine etc. Getting there on the Eurostar and TGV was just fab - so easy and relaxing.
We were particularly happy with our stay in Abeilhan – the town and house were just perfect and the owner had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. A real home from home.
The beaches at Valras and Sete were close enough and Pezenas is a lovely town just 10 minutes away with history and all the shops and resteraunts you should need. it was amongst the best holiday lets we have stayed in, so please pass on our thanks and best wishes to the owner.
lovely, well equipped house
We have just returned from a lovely relaxing week in this gorgeous house in Abeilhan. A town house on three levels, very spacious with loads of character. It was very clean and possibly the best equipped house we've stayed in. The sun terrace is lovely and it was great to have the gas BBQ. Abeilhan is a very friendly rural village with just a few shops, a bar and a pizza restaurant but there are supermarkets and other facilities in nearby towns within a few miles away. It's also not at all 'touristy' and most people we met didn't speak very much english but this was a refreshing change and made us try harder with our French. We'd also definitely recomend Vias beach, about 25 minutes drive from the house, a gorgeous beach with plenty of restaurants and bars without it being too busy. We would love to go back sometime
Thank you for you kind review, I am really pleased you had a great time.
We hope to see you again sometime in the future.
Nice place for day trips around
We had a nice time there. It's a perfect place for visiting several sights around Abailhan. Moreover we liked the small french village with the small stores and the weeken event with the soap box car race.
