About Dr and Mrs J V Sharp
We live near Oxford, but have welcomed visitors to our holiday property in Sutterton for many years.
Dr and Mrs J V Sharp purchased this Bungalow in 1980
Why Dr and Mrs J V Sharp chose Sutterton
I was brought up in the village, and many of our visitors tell us how much they also enjoy the wide open skies and landscapes of the flat Lincolnshire fenland farms. It's an ideal area for walking, cycling, bird watching, stately home visits or for garden enthusiasts. It's in a peaceful and relaxing location, but a good base for expeditions exploring the local area.
What makes this Bungalow unique
The large and secluded garden surrounding the property is always appreciated by our visitors. I enjoy cooking, and the bungalow is well equipped with crockery and kitchen equipment, but there's also a wide choice of places to eat out either in the village or in the surrounding area if you don't feel like cooking!
Sports & Adventure Activities
Peaceful and relaxing bungalow
A lovely relaxing long weekend the bungalow is cosy and peaceful in beautiful surroundings.
So pleased that these guests enjoyed their stay at Somercotes.
Lovely and peaceful
The bungalow was a great property with plenty of room and very pleasant garden and surroundings. The only thing for us was that the shower was difficult for my elderly mum who has osteoarthritis but otherwise everything else was really accessible.
We all really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return as there were many things in the area that we wished to see and didn’t get the time to do.
So pleased that these guests enjoyed both their stay at Somercotes and exploring the local area.
John and Margaret Sharp
The property is comfortable and homely.
We had a lovely stay at Somercotes. It was quiet and the garden was great to relax in. We were able to go on some lovely walks with the dog too.
We are delighted that these visitors enjoyed their stay at Somercotes so much.

We love this bungalow the peace and quiet makes a relaxing holiday. The surrounding area is full of lovely villages and towns with fresh local produce.
We are always delighted to hear how much our visitors have enjoyed their stays at Somercotes.

Enjoyed stay. Quiet and peaceful, lovely spacious garden and well equipped bungalow. Owners called us on arrival to check everything was ok.
