About Dr and Mrs J V Sharp
We live near Oxford, but have welcomed visitors to our holiday property in Sutterton for many years.
Dr and Mrs J V Sharp purchased this Bungalow in 1980
Why Dr and Mrs J V Sharp chose Sutterton
I was brought up in the village, and many of our visitors tell us how much they also enjoy the wide open skies and landscapes of the flat Lincolnshire fenland farms. It's an ideal area for walking, cycling, bird watching, stately home visits or for garden enthusiasts. It's in a peaceful and relaxing location, but a good base for expeditions exploring the local area.
What makes this Bungalow unique
The large and secluded garden surrounding the property is always appreciated by our visitors. I enjoy cooking, and the bungalow is well equipped with crockery and kitchen equipment, but there's also a wide choice of places to eat out either in the village or in the surrounding area if you don't feel like cooking!

Fab New Year get away
Loved Bungalow - quaint - but all amenities & well equipped & very snug & warm - well recommended.
So pleased that Stefan and friends (2 couples with 2 dogs) enjoyed their New Year stay at Somercotes.
Warm and comfortable property.
Warm and comfortable property. Very spacious. Garden enormous. Very good value for money. Enjoyed our stay very much at Christmas and John and Margaret were very accommodating in our stay over the Christmas period. Had a phone call off Margaret the next day to see if we were ok and if everything was satisfactory, which it was. Will definitely be returning as our family us nearby and this makes a pleasant and comfortable stay for us when vististing
Great accommodation and location
Lovely bungalow, real homely feel to it. Very peaceful location with lovely walks. Would recommend.
So pleased that Linda enjoyed her 2 week stay at Somercotes. We should be delighted to welcome her with her dog on another occasion.
Our stay at Somercoates
property a bit dated but we were warm and comfortable.
We are pleased that these visitors found Somercotes warm and comfortable - important issues for anyone!
Hope that the photos show the style of the surroundings, furnishings and decor accurately.
Peaceful and relaxing bungalow
A lovely relaxing long weekend the bungalow is cosy and peaceful in beautiful surroundings.
So pleased that these guests enjoyed their stay at Somercotes.
Lovely and peaceful
The bungalow was a great property with plenty of room and very pleasant garden and surroundings. The only thing for us was that the shower was difficult for my elderly mum who has osteoarthritis but otherwise everything else was really accessible.
We all really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return as there were many things in the area that we wished to see and didn’t get the time to do.
So pleased that these guests enjoyed both their stay at Somercotes and exploring the local area.
