Lovely little get away ☺️ Was much needed!
Lovely little property, everything you need 💕
Perfect charming cottage with everything we needed, comfortable, cosy and welcoming. Cottage was nice and clean and is obviously well looked after and maintained. Nice touch - for us - to have proper coffee machine too. Freshly laid chicken eggs made great scrambled eggs, v tasty and loved seeing chickens wandering in the garden! Good location, two friendly pubs, can recommend food in Leaping Salmon. Overall a lovely few days despite mixed Dartmoor weather!
Really enjoyed our stay
Fantastic little cottage really enjoyed our stay so unfortunate we had to depart early due to unforeseen commitments.Ideal place to unwind and relax all amenities catered for and not to far from pubs that can provide friendly atmosphere with good grub.Julie and Will were the perfect hosts, Lovely welcome and left us to ourselves but with the feeling that if any issues arose they were just a door knock away.Thanyou Julie,Will, family and not forgetting Twiggy,Amber,Cat and of course the chickens for providing the beautiful eggs.
Thank you for your lovely review. You were fantastic guests and left the cottage very clean and tidy. We hope to see you both again 😊

Lydford Gorge is one of Devon's gems...it's the deepest gorge in the whole of the south West, and it's surrounded by ancient woodland.
The river Lyd at this stretch is fast flowing, and the gorge features two "must see" attractions - the White Lady Waterfall and Devil's Cauldron.
