About Helen Rogerson
My husband and I live in Suffolk with our three children.
Helen Rogerson purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Helen Rogerson chose Aldeburgh
Aldeburgh has always been a home from home for me, as my parents owned a holiday cottage around the corner from Charlotte's Cottage as far back as the sixties, and all our summers were spent here.
What makes this Cottage unique
The cottage is ideally located for the beach, high street, tennis courts and sailing club which are all within easy walking distance. It's a great place for children and cycling, and with so many good restaurants, pubs and shops in the town there really is no need to get in the car.

Lovely friendly cottage
Such a charming cottage, close to the sea - tucked in a quiet road just behind the High Street. We had a wonderful stay!
Brilliant location, lovely cottage
We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage, despite shocking rain on one of the days! My five and two year old daughters throughly enjoyed their stay too. The cottage had everything we needed. The cottage is in a brilliant location to explore Aldeburgh and enjoy this wonderful seaside town. We would highly recommend staying at this cottage.
Fantastic position and cozy cottage
We stayed at the cottage for 6 nights and had a fantastic time. Cottage very well equipped and clean. Fantastic position close to the town and the beach. Parking just around the corner. Great communication from Helen before our stay and a lovely chocolate cake on arrival which the children loved! We will definitely be returning.
Perfect location and very homey
Loved it! Bring earplugs for the seagulls who start a racket at 3:30am but other then that and missing my Starbucks coffee.... it was perfect!
So pleased you enjoyed your stay. Sorry about the seagulls - they can be a very noisy bunch. I read somewhere they're particularly loud at that time of your when they're protecting their chicks - another generation of squawkers!
Simple cottage very well equipped and excellent location
This is a very old property and has been cleverly extended to include an upstairs toilet. This is a bonus as the stairs are quite steep, so not good to tackle in the middle of the night. It is located near the beach and also some essential shops (bakery, fish and chips and the pub). We found everything we required in the cottage, including some very useful information about the area. The owner was most helpful and communicative.
This is a very comfortable cottage, very well equipped and ideally located on a lane which leads to the sea at one end and the high street at the other. We would highly recommend it.
Beach half a minute's walk away.
