Great hosts, peaceful location.
Beautiful, peaceful gite exactly as described. Stunning garden. Well equipped and comfortable. Hosts were the perfect combination of reassuringly present but giving privacy, in just the right balance. Friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Great area with loads to do and visit. Perfect for family holiday with older teenagers. Highly recommended.
We loved this place - perfect for family with young children.
Lovely setting, huge safe garden, everything you need, clean and spacious. Owners on hand and helpful. Peaceful countryside setting. Great location for coastal visits and sites. Will definitely come again.
Lovely relaxing stay
We had a lovely and relaxing stay. It’s a well-equipped cottage in a very peaceful rural setting, but close to lots of fascinating places to visit. Sharon and Jules were excellent hosts and we would love to return.
Peace. Lovely peace
Living near an airport we had forgotten what quiet is.
Accommodation is very rustic and could do with a little TLC, but the whole stay was enjoyable from beginning to end..
Weather was kind to us and it was a pleasure to sit out on the decking in the evening and watch the bats “ fly by “.
Lovely gite - very spacious and clean in a peaceful location. Run by a very nice English couple who made us feel very welcome and lit a fire for our arrival. The only downside is that it doesn't have a dishwasher and the bed in the master bedroom is a little small. Other than it was perfect for our short break.
Comfortable house in peaceful surroundings
A lovely cozy house with everything we needed with friendly and helpful hosts, Sharon and Jules on hand whenever needed.
The beautiful pink granite coast is a 30 minute drive away, with its picturesque beaches and small quiet coves. There are spectacular coastal path walks for the more energetic, or you can sit and while away the time in one of the many restaurants and bars that are dotted along the coast. The west and south coasts are well worth visiting but are slightly further away.
Ferry: Roscoff ferry port is less that 1 hours drive, and St Malo approximately 2 hours. The nearest airport is Brest which can be reached within 1.5 hours and Dinard airport is approximately 2 hours. We are happy to provide information on distances/times to other ferry terminals or with other transport queries.
Many major historic towns such as Morlaix, Guingamp, Lannion and St Brieuc are all less than 1 hour away. The closest town with good amenities is Callac (approximately 15 minutes by car) with provides supermarket, banks, restaurants, bars, vets etc.
