Excellent villa, extremely well equipped, Martyn and Ann very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Beautiful peaceful location.
Excellent villa - all you could ask for.
The Villa benefits from a quiet location and provides for a totally relaxing break. The pool and terrace space + games make for a fun-packed time. My adult and teenage children loved it.
Visitors should have use of a car during their stay but the main supermarket is just a 10 minute walk. The restaurant we used most is a15-20 minute walk.
Special mention for Martin and Ann (our hosts) for whom nothing was too much trouble.
Fabulous villa, great pool with an amazing view be back
This is a wonderful villa for the family, it's lovely and spacious with everything you could possibly need. We stayed during August when it's very hot. Ann and Martyn are around if you need them and we loved their tips on places to visit, and their home grown tomatoes were lovely.
The welcome hamper was a god send after our very long journey (mainly the wine)
You definitely need a car with sat nav!! Nothing in walking distance but local towns not too far to drive. We hope to be back soon!!
Lovely, quiet and well situated villa
Traveling as a family (3 generations) can be challenging: this villa just made the difference. Well situated in Mougins, 30 minutes away from some key spots on the French Riviera (Cannes; Nice; Eze; etc) and in land (Grasse) , yet pretty remote since it is perched up on the hills with a nice inland view, it is spacious and quiet. The private pool helped a lot cooling down at the end of a day of visits, and was a great spot for happy hour savoring local produce (olives, ham; etc) and good wine. Ann and Martyn were wonderful and provided very useful tips and recommendations. Last but not least Mougins (old village) is a very nice place and has very good restaurants! We will be back.
lovely, peaceful location and well equipped villa
We had a lovely peaceful break at this secluded villa.
The villa was lovely and absolutely spotless, well equipped and the garden outside was beautiful. It was great that there was plenty outside for the kids with badminton, table tennis etc.
Ann and Martin were really helpful with any queries about where to visit/ using the barbecue and welcoming with a welcome pack when we arrived. We will go again!
Lovely property with super hosts
Superb villa, comfortable, well-equipped and clean. Lovely tiled floors and pine ceiling in the living areas. Views across the local valley to Grasse and its surrounding hills. Peaceful location on a hillside outside Mougins but with slight background traffic noise in the evenings from the distant expressway in the valley.
We loved sitting outside on the terrace, with plenty of shade available, and enjoyed the lovely pool. It was a hot fortnight and the air-conditioning in the living area and main bedroom was a real boon. We enjoyed visiting local villages like Mougins and Valbonne, and day trips further afield to Antibes and Monaco.
The hosts Martyn and Ann were most friendly and very helpful, but unobtrusive living below. Our wheelchair was no problem. Thanks to them for a lovely holiday.
