About rosalie reeder
We are a retired couple and we very much enjoy visiting the north east. We visit the apartment regularly sharing it with friends and relatives..Rosalie loves to paint and you will find some of her artwork at the apartment. Our boys Mike and Chris now bring our grandchildren to visit as there are lots of family fun to be had nearby at the Historic key and there are often visiting fairs .They love to surf on the local beaches and search among the rock pools. Many good family times have been enjoyed at the apartment --it is a lovely place to spend quality family time together and lots of family friendly restaurants just a stones throw away
rosalie reeder purchased this Apartment in 2002
Why rosalie reeder chose Hartlepool
We bought our apartment in this area because it is in such a good position.Being right on the quayside. we can watch all the boats coming and going from the marina from the comfort of our lounge. Its also in an excerlent position for touring the countryside on 3 sides---North,all the way up through the Northumbrian coast or South to the lovely seaside towns of whitby (about 30mins) Scarborough Filey and Bridlington. To the west are the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. Lots to see and do locally and good beaches at Seaton Carew 1 mile away
What makes this Apartment unique
Because Watersedge is our HolidayHome we have taken special care to provide good quality furnishings and utensells for your use.You will find every thing there that you need to make your holiday a memorable one. Watersedge will provide you with a lovely environment to spend quality time with your family. My partner and i live in the midlands. We both love the northeast and whilst on holiday in 2001 spotted this lovely apartment for sale. We fell in love with it and purchased it. Since buying the apartment we have spent a lot of time and money updating it to a high standard. At the time we both still worked so we used our holidays to do the work and get to know the surrounding areas. We added an ensuite to the family room which makes it great to share with another couple.

Great communications and easy checking in. Apartment was in a great location and spotless. Perfectly equipped for our mini break. Lovely view over the Marina and ideally placed to enable us to explore what we needed to on foot. Spacious accommodation. If I had to find fault it would be we only had 2 large towels provided, with 3 of us staying we could have done with an extra one. Would happily stay there again if we came back to Hartlepool.
A lovely flat well situated. Would come again.
Owner was easy to reach and replied to any query I had.
Thanks so much for taking the time to review---hope to see you again soon
great apartment with a beautiful view , would highly recommend and use again.
thanks Dean..much appreciated...glad you enjoyed the apartment...Rosalie Reeder
A spacious & fairly well equiped apartment but parts of it could do with a little TLC
We loved the position of this apartment with it’s view overlooking the Marina although the four flights of stairs may prove daunting to anyone with difficulty in walking. The Royal Navy museum is well worth a visit and is within walking distance. We also went to the Heugh ( yuff ) battery where we had a warm welcome from the manager, Diane, & a very informative talk with John who passed on his extensive knowledge of all things gun-related. Hartlepool is a good base for travelling to many tourist attractions. We were able to visit Hexham with it’s Abbey, Chester’s Fort which is part of Hadrian’s Wall & a full day at Raby Castle amongst other places.
glad you enjoyed your stay...yes lots to see and do...26 stairs in total...keeps me fit....and I'm 72!!
hope to see u again soon
Very smart and with a fabulous view
The property was in very good order, very clean and comfortable. There were a few little touches that I thought would have enhanced it even more and left a note to the owner to suggests these. There were a couple of minor issues that again I mentioned so hopefully they will be sorted for the future. Overall though it was a superb spot.
4.5/5 The apartment is ideally located for Hartlepool's main attractions, with a great outlook.
Within easy walking distance of the town's main tourism zones. Historical Quay and museum, church street, marina pubs and restaurants are right there. Cinema, train station, supermarkets, town centre shopping are also on the doorstep.
Access to the property is via stairs without a lift so may be difficult for some but we managed a pram up and down okay. And parking outside the property is ample.
The apartment is nicely laid out, decorated and furnished with a nice feel and balconies for the view. Good sized bedrooms with a 2nd bathroom and a well fitted out kitchen make staying here simple.
Good communication with the owner, a warm welcome from the caretaker and a lovely clean property add up to make this a repeat location for my next visit.
With some basic starter provisions / welcome pack in the kitchen and bathrooms and an upgrade to bed linen & towels there would be an easy 5 stars for this generally great apartment.
Hello Richard...thanks so much for your review...our yearly update of the apartment will take place at the end of this month so you will be pleasantly suprised to find it even better at your next visit..thanks again rosalie
