Large 2 bed apartment sleeps 4 located between Paphos and Coral Bay

The apartment lounge is light and airy and has been furnished to a very high standard with two 2 seater and one 3 seater sofas. There is satellite TV, DVD and a DVD library for your entertainment. A small book library, some games and an iPod / iPhone docking station clock radio are supplied. Air-conditioning units plus 2 ceiling fans are in the lounge plus in one of each in both bedrooms help keep you cool during the warmer months. The master bedroom has en-suite and has a double bed. The en-suite contains a shower, WC with sink and shelving. The second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes and plenty of hangers. The family bathroom has a bath, shower, WC with sink and shelving. All cotton linen, beach and bath towels are supplied. There is a large fully equipped modern kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer. All windows have been fitted with fly screens for your comfort.

For an additional cost Internet at 5MB plus live UK TV via a minix android box allows TV, films and sport is available. Some buffering may occur.

An ideal base to relax this large luxurious ground floor apartment with a panoramic sea view of the Coral Bay coastline is located in a serene and tranquil area on the outskirts of Tala Village. The complex has a meandering river, starting from within a rockery, running through the middle of the communal grounds, interconnecting with the swimming pool, whirlpool and ending at a third incredible split level Infinity pool. Beautifully landscaped gardens with gazebos surround this exceptional feature which will simply take your breath away! A 15 minute stroll uphill will take you to the village square with its bars, restaurants and a coffee shop.

Airport Transfer: Paphos Airport is just 30 minutes drive from Tala village. Taxi costs approximately 30 Euro. Car hire is recommended if you want to explore more of Cyprus. Transfers from the airport can be arrange on request. The owners can recommend a car hire company offering competitive prices with delivery to the airport on request - please note this is best booked prior to your trip. Alternatively, Lanaka Airport is approx 2.25 hours away.

Golf: There are currently 3 top quality 18 hole courses which are open all year round: Tsada - par 72 - built within the grounds of a 12th century monastery offering unique and stunning scenery with a backdrop of the Troodos Mountains; Secret Valley - par 72 - Situated in a valley hidden from view with dramatic rock formations and wooded areas; Aphrodite - par 71 - overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and from some parts you can actually see Aphrodite’s Rock.

Ski: usually available between January and March this is a small resort, with ski lifts and cross country trails located on the Troodos Mountains, offering restaurant and cafe refreshments approximately one hours 30 minutes drive from Tala.

Conclusion: This is a beautiful property for people to lay back and relax away from the hustle and bustle of life but easily accessible to the bright lights of Paphos or Coral Bay as and when required.

Fantastic Apartment

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday in Karen and Mike's fabulous apartment.

There was absolutely everything required for a home from home holiday. The Wifi was a huge hit with our 16 year old and there was even a cool box, which was useful on trips to the beach. We had the most relaxing time at the apartment. The location within the complex is wonderful, only yards from the pool and a furnished patio with fantastic views out over the Bay.

Tala is a lovely village with various excellent Tavernas. We enjoyed meals at Melitzia, Stamna, The Square and Casa Luna. There was also a warm welcome and great atmosphere at Marios pub. The village square is within walking distance but it is uphill and can be a task in the heat. We had a car, and would say that it is pretty much essential, and allows you the freedom to explore the area.

Everything about the apartment was first class and we had an excellent holiday. Just sorry that we had to come home. We would definitely recommend this apartment, it was fabulous. So thank you Karen and Mike we will hopefully get a chance to return.

Excellent relaxing holiday

Just come back from an excellent holiday for 9 days in Cyprus staying in Karen and Mike’s spotlessly clean apartment. The location of the apartment is excellent set in the hills so you get a lovely breeze and Paphos was only a 20 minute drive away.

The apartment has a real home from home feeling and has everything you could possible need. There are four comfortable sun loungers for your sole use and the patio was fully furnished so you could enjoy meals watching the sun setting over the Troodos Mountains.

There is plenty to do and see in this area of Cyprus and we found many lovely restaurants with fantastic views on our travels (all very good value). After a day of sightseeing we looked forward to returning to the hills for that well deserved breeze and time to relax by the quiet pools.

There are a variety of restaurants in walking distance in Tala Village Square our favourites were ‘The Square’ and ‘Melitza Taverna’ which both had fantastic views over the coast and Paphos.

We would definitely recommend this apartment – it was just perfect so thank you Karen and Mike we shall be returning.

Excellent apartment for a relaxing holiday

Excellent apartment

Absolutely fabulous holiday to Cyprus, apartment was amazing, spacious & well equipped, everything you would need, definately a home from home experience. We hired a car which gave access to all the sights, beaches are lovely. Tala square is a lovely friendly place and we were made to feel very welcome, particularly at marios! Will definately be coming back again!

Very nice apartment.

We enjoyed a one week stay in Tala in Karen's and Mike's apartment.

Very nice apartment, well equipped, clean and everything you need is there and is in very good condition, even the outside furniture.

A lot of documentation is present in the apartment about things to see, things to do, even all kinds of roadmaps ect..

The location is perfect, by far the best location of the complex. A lot of privacy on your outside terrace and spectacular views over the ocean, especially in the evening, you get a beautiful and undisturbed sunset. The combination of ceiling fans and AC is very nice, surely for people who have problems with the cold AC air (Very important, even the inside AC units were very clean, no dust or whatever).

You need a car when you stay in Tala, but I think one should hire a car when you come to Cyprus, so much to explore.

What we did in the beautiful Cyprus.

We visited Moni (Kykko is very nice), Archaeological sites, Troodos mountains etc. but some things were really nice.

• Paphos Sea Cruises: Sunset cruise, very nice.

• Kalidonia falls in the Troodos mountains: nice walk and nice falls.

• The Vineyard Taverna in Letymbou: how nice was this, very friendly people (Debbie and Charles), spectacular food and really low price for great quality. Place to be, when we return to Cyprus, we have two certainties, Karen's and Mike's apartment and The Vineyard taverna. We had Sea Bream over there, really fresh and sooooooo tasteful.

Many thanks to Joy and Michael (property managers), very nice and helpful people and certainly many thanks to Karen and Mike, so kind and so helpfull and never the less we arrived at night, everything was taken care of, entrance to the apartment, welcome pack,....perfect, thank you again

Family holiday Jun/Jul 2012

As per previous reviews, we too found the apartment faultless. Very well equiped both inside and outside (sun loungers and table & chairs). Also, I would say, having walked around the small complex, this apartment was definately the best situated. Very private and very rare to have anyone walking by the terrace. Sitting out dining and watching the sun go down in the evening was wonderful, a proper little piece of heaven. Cyprus is a beautiful Island and the people very friendly. Would definately recommend visiting and staying here in Tala. Car essential for touring, shopping etc.

We would definately return here and recommend to anyone.

Tala is a picturesque village on the outskirts of Paphos, located between Kissonerga and Tsada and famous for its cool breezes and spectacular views of the Mediterranean. This traditional Cypriot village is surrounded by paved pedestrian areas, traditional tavernas and close to the 12th Century Monastery of St. Neophytos. The village square has a small family run supermarket for your essentials, other amenities such as a hairdresser, bank, bakery and other shops are all within walking distance.

Why not relax on the Blue Flag beach of Coral Bay with its golden sands and clear blue waters or explore the historic town of Paphos with its variety of bars, shops and restaurants . If you’re feeling more energetic then why not visit the 18 hole championship golf course at Tsada all within 15 minutes drive. For nature lovers the village is surrounded by natural beauty where you can spend time walking, hiking or cycling whilst sampling the magnificent views.
