About Villa Vallon
We are a family with 3 young children. Until 2009 we lived in London close to Cannonbury square in Islington. Since 2009 we moved to Switzerland and enjoy the beautyful lifestyle.
Villa Vallon purchased this Villa in 2008
Why Villa Vallon chose Grimaud
We bought this lovely Property in Beauvallon Bartole right next to the Beauvallon Golf course as our summer holiday residence. We spend 4 to 5 weeks each year in our house in Grimaud. Over the years we constantly renovated and enhanced the inside and outside of the Property.
What makes this Villa unique
The kids enjoy mostly the pool and the beautyful garden. Anyone who loves golf will love this property which is right on the Beauvallon Golf course. Port Grimaud, St. Tropez and Ste. Maxime are reached easely by car. We love the secure and gated compound full of amazing villas.

Great Barbecue and Pool
Four of us stayed here so there was plenty of room, and no waiting for a bathroom. Had a great time. It's a quiet neighborhood except for the occasional thwack of a golf ball. Only caution is that the entry drive is tight and on a hill, so a smaller car would have an easier time than the big one we had, That said, we got better with practice.
Very nice property for a family
All you need for a peaceful holiday. Large villa, all of the amenities you require, close to beaches and towns with a large pool for kids to play in.
Owner and property manager were very helpful and accommodating
We would stay here again.

Arrived early at the villa but it wasn't a problem. The villa was clean and the lady that met us was very friendly and helpful.
the pool was a great hit with the kids and does have a pool alarm.
Have stopped in villas before were you are checked up on every day, but at villa Vallon we where left alone unless we needed something which
Attractive Provencal villa
Villa Vallon is an attractive Provençal villa in mature grounds on a series of well kept levels looking out onto the bay of St Tropez. The bedrooms are a good size and those upstairs are air conditioned. A large reception room on the first floor is spacious and has access to a long, thin balcony. Internal cooking facilities are good with plenty of utensils and there is a particularly effective outside BBQ. The pool was of a good size and well maintained. In summary, a well proportioned villa for a party of 10.
Parking for 3 cars is available adjacent to the house but the access drive is steep and a handful when exiting through the electronically operated gates whilst attempting a 180 degree turn onto the estate road.
There was no easily accessible shopping nearby. In peak season expect to spend 25 - 30 mins to drive to the nearest large supermarket. Smaller food shops at local campsites (which are a little closer) are available but with very limited ranges of goods.
Even given these limitations I would still recommend the property as a lovely, quiet family villa.
We stayed at the villa for a week and a half in September and had a lovely time. The villa itself was fantastic, lovely size, nice layout, and in great condition. Our 3, 1.5 and 1 year olds were especially fond of the large terrace right in front of the kitchen and dining area, where they spent hours wondering around in circles, playing stones and scooting. The pool was also great - though a little cool for the little ones, but it was September and there had been a big storm just before we arrived. We also had another storm whilst we were there and Leason, our contact, was quick to text us and check there were no problems with the property (whereupon she had the gardeners round quick smart to tidy up the storm swept patio).
The traffic along the road between St Maxime and Grimaud / St Tropez is not very enjoyable so we were particularly pleased to have brought our bikes and the bike trailer for the kids. The bike paths are fantastic and it makes the whole area much more enjoyable. I think you can rent bikes and trailers in the area too and would thoroughly recommend that if you don't have one that you can bring and you want to explore the area. On the other hand, there is a beach down the bottom of the road, easy walking distance, which also had a lovely restaurant with excellent fish, moules and legendary frites.
All in all a great stay, thoroughly recommend the villa if you are looking to travel to this area.
