The Stables is a self catering coastal cottage overlooking the sea on the Pembrokeshire coast. It is secluded and is surrounded by 70 acres of its own farmland. There are panoramic views over the sea and up the Preseli mountains from most of the rooms. There are two bathrooms, underfloor heating and the style is 'rustic coastal'. It is private and has lots of space for kids to play safely. The farm was a location for the Moby Dick film directed by John Huston in 1956.

About Mike and Aradhana Perry
The farm is owned by Mike and Aradhana Perry and family. We are slowly converting this great site into a rustic retreat. As well as our passion for this part of the world we want to share our love of good design and sustainable living.
Mike and Aradhana Perry purchased this Cottage in 2001
Why Mike and Aradhana Perry chose Dinas Cross
We spent our childhoods in North Pembrokeshire and were very lucky to buy Ffynnonofi in 2001. As soon as we saw this place we were completely blown away. The seclusion, the lay of the land and the views of the sea and Preselis make it very special.
What makes this Cottage unique
Wonderful views of the coast and mountains. It's quiet and secluded. Great access to beaches, the coastal path and Dinas village. Wildlife everywhere.

This house belongs in a category of its own - it is a stunning and peaceful place for recharging
This house belongs in a category of its own - when we arrived, the combination of the view of the sea, an already lit log fire, winter sunlight and sheep contentedly munching in their field outside the sitting room window, felt like heaven. Design inside the house is artistic and beautifully restrained. Absolute peace and privacy. Tactful hosts. Getting away from it all an understatement.
Stylish characterful cottage in a stunning location
This was our third stay here and it won't be our last. The house is lovely, like a home not a soulless holiday let and wonderfully comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful but not overbearing and the location is amazing with coastal and inland walks. We swam at 3 of the many beaches nearby, saw lots of seals and pups from the coast path, explored the Gwaun valley and totally relaxed.
fantastic views and plenty of space
very friendly owners - Beautiful views to the sea (and the horses came every day) - plenty of space inside - a cosy warm fire to come back to at night - fantastic walks on the coast path . Alltogether a wonderful stay, would love to come back here soon!°
Fabulous! Can't wait to go back with the family!
Beautiful property in a Stunning location. Fabulous walks straight from the door and a bit further afield. The Views, especially in the living room are amazing. It was too chilly for us to use the conservatory but will hopefully be back in warmer weather. A stroll down to Ffynonofi's private beach is a must. Sitting on the rocks gazing out to sea, time stood still for a while. Magic.
Modern, light, spacious with some real art and a most wonderful mantle piece
Very well equipped kitchen and great beds, lovely sitting room with fantastic views.
Light and airy yet cosy and warm.
Home from home
Beautiful setting with fabulous views. Perfect for our family holiday.

We are 1 mile from Dinas Cross village and 3 miles from Newport and Fishguard.
The Stables is ideally located for some of the highlight spots in the North Pembs National Park. You are close to the sea and the Preseli mountains. There is a beach pub and restaurant just 15 minutes walk across our field and down the coastal path and two pubs in the village. There are a couple of mini markets for basics in the village and Newport has a great butchers and organic health food shop. There is a supermarket in Fishguard.
