Cottage nr Usk, Between Monmouth and Chepstow, Monmouthshire, South Wales - Peaceful Location At The End Of A No Through Road
About Carole Lawrence
My name is Carole and my husband John and I have lived at The Warren, which is on the same land as The Burrow (W898) for 28 years. Previously, we lived in Muscat, Oman for 5 years and Oslo, Norway for 2. We thoroughly enjoyed living abroad but decided it was time to start a family and own our own property. We love the feeling of living in our own little world here at the end of a dead end country lane. As you meander down the lane you leave all the troubles of the world behind you. That feeling has never left us. Since living here we've had Ben (24) and Josephine (22) both having now flown the nest to follow their own paths. We thought our hidden world was worth sharing with others and hope, should you come to stay at The Burrow, that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Carole Lawrence purchased this Cottage in 1987
Why Carole Lawrence chose Usk
We bought property in this area because it is beautiful and although we have a lovely feeling of space and remoteness, it is easy to get to all the important towns and cities that are needed in modern life.

Fab stay in The Burrow
Lovely time spent in this comfortable bungalow. Friendly hosts who made us very welcome. The spa added to the relaxing time in beautiful peaceful countryside where the view is fantastic. We felt so chilled and refreshed especially our dog who didn't bark all of the time we were there due to the peace and quiet. We really didn't want to leave. Thank you for a lovely stay.
It was really lovely having you stay at The Burrow. Always special when guests totally enjoy the specialness of the location. Thank you for leaving it so clean and tidy; much appreciated. X
We had two nights at this wonderful spot. Very peaceful and tranquil. Like a little home from home, equipped with everything you could need. Carole and John were excellent hosts. Beautiful scenery from our patio and bungalow windows. All the garden is enclosed so fantastic for our dog Harvey (who loved it). Really spacious property. Would definitely recommend.
