Beautiful, stylish and cosy cottage in the heart of Whitstable
We stay in Whitstable regularly, and this is one of the most beautiful places we've stayed in so far. The interior has many thoughtful, stylish touches - it made for a very soothing and restful environment - within only minutes walk away from the beach, shops and restaurants. Thanks for letting us stay, we loved it!
The perfect holiday location in beautiful Whitstable
A delightful, tastefully decorated property. Breakwater Cottage was just right for us and our family. We were able to enjoy everything Whitstable had to offer from a base that was right in the centre of town. We appreciated the contact from Rafal, the owner on the day we arrived and on the day we left.
The bedrooms were light and airy, the beds were comfortable and the White bed linen was of nice quality. The downstairs bathroom was well appointed and the constant supply of hot water was greatly appreciated. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed for our stay and the provision of both washing machine and dishwasher was a real help! The garden had an outside table and benches and we enjoyed eating both breakfasts and evening meals out there. There were nice touches throughout the house-especially the local artwork. Parking can be tricky in that part of town...but it wasn't for us!
Obviously, the perfect holiday weather helped a great deal but we all left the cottage agreeing we would love to go back there again.
We had a great holiday on the north Kent coastline.
Cottage we rented was excellent and idea for what we required.
Whitstable is a lovely town and ideal as a base, not to far from anywhere that we wished to vist.
Amazing time in Whitstable
Two families stayed in this cottage and we had plenty of room and the garden was delightful too. Great location with walking distance to all the amenities and we had a lovely time. It was a shame that the owner came across very rude prior to us staying in the cottage when in fact everything worked out smoothly during our stay and our deposit has immediately been refunded so I would definitely recommend staying here again. Delightful modern cottage.
Lovely cottage in Whitstable
We stayed here with our children and their partners for the weekend to celebrate my husbands 70th. Breakaway Cottage was the perfect place to stay in the lovely town of Whitstable. The owner contacted me before the stay to talk through everything and made us feel welcome before we arrived. The bedrooms are a good size and everyone thought the beds really comfortable. Just about everything you needed to cook was provided in the kitchen including a nespresso machine. The house has lots of very good art, furniture and pottery which make it that little bit different . We loved the wood burning stove in the living area. I have to say this was one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in and would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in the area.
Keep in touch as you are very welcome back
Lovely Cottage - Great Location
Had a lovely holiday in Whitstable. Cottage ideally situated for harbour, beach and all the amenities Cottage was spacious and well equipped with really comfy beds and a nice back garden.
Didn't need to use the car very often which was good considering parking at times was an issue.
Not sure about having a filing cabinet in the 3rd bedroom as a chest of drawers.
The stairs are steep and narrow and would have benefitted with a hand rail especially for young children. Bathroom and toilet were downstairs which the website doesn't mention and there is no lock on the toilet door. The website also mentions that there is a stair gate available but on arrival could not get this to fit as it was too wide for the stairs. Rafel has assured me he will remove this from the website has it is misleading if you come with young children. The lounge/dining room floor could do with a clean. Very dirty socks!
Despite the comments above we had a lovely stay in a lovely area and was luck with the weather.
Rafel was also very prompt in returning damage deposit.
