Set in a peaceful road in the exclusive Residencia La Lluca on the outskirts of Javea a fews minutes from the Javea Golf club. The villa is full of spanish character and has a lovely gated drive into the property surrounded by large landscaped gardens, a large pool, private tennis court & trampoline. The garden looks out onto open campo. If you are looking for peace and tranquility you will find it here, with the sound of constant bird-song . We have an area where our adorable guinea pigs roam free amongst the bamboo .The children will love to see and feed them. Please throw them you scrap veggies etc.
The spacious accommodation is comfortable and well equipped with all the luxuries necessary to have a fantastic holiday. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are in the main house and the 4th is in a charming cottage with a shower-room and kitchenette. This is next to the BBQ area.
The villa has a gym gym room handy for lifting a few weights or just a morning stretch.
Dining at home can be enjoyed around the summer BBQ area... Chill out around the large pool on comfortable sun-loungers with trees on the lawn and umberellas for shade.
The famous Arenal Beach to the glorious Old Town, and the port of Javea are all minutes away by car.
The nearby Old Town of Javea, has narrow cobbled streets, intimate restaurants, interesting shops and altogether lovely buildings. It was once a walled town, many hundreds of years ago. The Old Town has just had a 'face-lift' with new walkways between the lovely old town houses. Great to explore! Pop into a 'Tapas' restaurant. Sit outside and watch the world go by.
Next there is Javea Port, with its small fishing fleet. Here you can feast on fresh sea food in the local restaurants all year round. A little further on is the Marina, with many luxurious yachts moored alongside more modest vessels. Water sports can be enjoyed from the beaches and canal.
A very popuar part of Javea is the Arenal sandy beach. The waters are shallow and very safe for bathers. Many of the beaches have been awarded the 'blue flag' for being particularly clean and well maintained. Bathing from 5 pm onwards is perfect ,not so hot !
Terra Mitica Theme Park & Zoo (Benidorm)

Mundomar in Benidorm (dolphin show, aquatic animals)
Verjel Safari Park (up the coast road past Ondara- 30 mins
Ondara equestrian centre –fabulous to visit in the show-jumping season.
A really nice Shopping Mall in Ondara (close to Denia) with nice shops cinemas, restaurants etc
local markets on different days in different towns. Thursday in Javea.
I am originally from London but moved to the south coast in the 1980s where I established my property management company. Ten years later I expanded the business to include the Marina Alta region of the Costa Blanca and now divide my time between England and Spain.
Gary or Karen purchased this villa in 2002
This is a great Villa to choose as you have the best of everything all on one plot . Space and privacy and plenty of things for the children and you to do so you don´t need to rush to go anywhere. You very well located to get to the beach and other areas of Javea quickly. I can`t think of anywhere I would rather live.
Great location, very spacious and private garden, over 4000m2 . Super large pool. Really nice full size tennis court to play on with great views all round and down the garden. trampoline . Some guinea pigs live free in the bamboo area will to entertain the children .
The property was stunning, tastefully decorated with loads of space. We travelled with four children aged between 6 and 16 years and it catered really well for them. We loved the wild guinea pigs and rabbits. It is a great holiday for both people who like to be active with the pool, gym and tennis court and for those who just like to laze in the gardens, by the barbecue area or relax in the casita. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and Karen, the owner, took time to ensure everything was just right. Would recommend, thank you.
We loved the villa and all the facilities..so lovely having a tennis court with flood lights. It was the perfect temperature for running around during the day but in the heat of the summer it would be nicer to play in the cool of the evening. We even did a few workouts in the gym..never been so fit after a holiday!
The pool is bigger than a normal villa pool, although this early it's very refreshing! We like it like that though...nothing beats an invigorating dip after a hot game of tennis.
For a warmer swim we also used the indoor pool which is less than a mile away..
Location is good for going all ways...the main beach takes about 10 mins and supermarkets & closest village Benitachell are a couple of minutes in the car.
We love Javea and the villa really suited us...lovely airy lounge and main bedroom which opens onto the garden...
Very quiet and secure...would definitely recommend!
What more could you want from a villa... wonderful outside space with a great sized pool, beautiful gardens and tennis court and pleasant decor.
It really is only a short drive into town and Javea is pretty and very friendly.
We have stayed in many villas along the spanish coast and this is the first time we have ever spoken to the owner about returning before we have even left. A modern and spacious villa with excellent facilities - fully equipped tennis courts, great size pool and mini-gym all meant the kids were fully occuppied.
Location also good - 5 mins by car to nearest supermarket and 10 minutes into Javea.
Only minor drawback was lack of aircon (although that could have been offered as an optional extra that i missed, not sure).
All in all highly recommended.
We had a fantastic holiday staying in this villa. Everything was as described and it was a real home from home....with the added bonuses of pool, trampoline and sun!! There is a lot of space in and outside and it is very private. Although it is set in a residential area, you cannot see anyone else and it feels like you are the only people around. Having the dishwasher and washing machine was great. The water filter was also a bonus.
It was clean and a cleaner came once during our 16 night stay. Pool was maintained regularly....pool net etc there to pick out the leaves etc ourselves. Karen and Gary (owners) were readily available to answer questions and were very friendly and accommodating.
We stayed around the villa for most of the holiday, but did go to the lovely local Arenal beach....a beautiful beach with some nice restaurants. Javea old town was very nice too.
We ventured to benidorm to Aqualand and Terra Mitica...definitely worthwhile for the children and adults!! A car is required to stay here but shopping is very local and beach is about 7mins in the car.
We would certainly recommend staying here....Ideal if large family away with parents as they can have their own space in the cottage.
Thank you to Karen and Gary for our wonderful holiday!
What a great villa. Really well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for people to enjoy themselves and relax. The chaises longues in the lounge were a definate hit. The little cassita was lovely and peaceful with a fantastic walk in shower.
We played plenty of tennis and lazed by the pool when it got too hot. The pool is a good size and nice and deep. The big steps in were perfect for sitting on with a book when you needed to cool down.
The barbeque and outside table were lovely for evening meals.
You definately need to have a car as it is on the outskirts of Javea.
We would recommend driving to the beautiful Platje Grenadella (20 mins) with clear blue water for snorkelling and a restaurant serving the best paella ever.
Javea (also known as Xabia) is a gem of a town situated on the Northern Costa Blanca. The rugged coastline is indented with secluded coves and sandy beaches. These hidden caves and bays were once used by pirates and smugglers in the Middle Ages but are now used by sunbathers, snorkellers and scuba divers.
Javea is situated on the most easterly point of mainland Spain about 100 km from Valencia and 90 km from Alicante, voted environmentally near perfect by the World Health Organization and boasts 320 days of sunshine a year.
A very popular part of Javea is the Arenal's main sandy beach, perfect for bucket and spade lovers. The waters are shallow and very safe for bathers. Many of the beaches have been awarded the 'blue flag' for being particularly clean and well maintained. A host of restaurants and bars is located along the entire length of the Arenal. In the summer evenings you can enjoy visiting the many stalls that are erected on the promenade e.g silver jewellery, local paintings, leather, art.
It is possible to hire out windsurf and motor boats, jet skis , pedalos, canoes from Javea main beach and windsurfers on the stony shores closer to the port of javea. There are guided jet ski tours that go towards Benidorm . Exploring the rocky coastline , and secluded beaches and caves is a fantastic experience.
The sea is generally calm and fairly flat , but when the sea gets up surfers appear and you can buy body boards cheaply.
Walking and cycling - there are many established walks and cycle routes. Info on these is in the villa or at tourist offices and on large maps by the beach. Bikes can be hired in Javea port .
Visiting other towns and markets . Each town has market day and there some interesting antique markets in Jalon and Jesus Pobre
Golf - there are 2 golf clubs nearby . The Javea golf club requires proof of handicap, and La Sella is on the way to Denia at the Marriot golf resort.
