This is Montana at its finest! Ashley Lake is known for its clear, turquoise water and superb fishing. Bring your family and friends to spread out in this 4,000 square foot home with a large kitchen and two family rooms. Outside, you'll enjoy the deck and grassy backyard complete with a dock, fire pit, kayaks, paddle board, and a canoe. Grab one of the fishing poles and fish for cutthroat trout, yellow perch and kokanee salmon. There is a public boat ramp down the road if you want to bring your own boat.

The house is in the mountains west of Kalispell, up a well maintained gravel road. It's quiet and peaceful at the lake but only takes 25 minutes to get to Kalispell. Flathead Lake is 30 minutes, downtown Whitefish is 40 minutes, Bigfork is 45 minutes, and Glacier is 1 hour away. The mountains and views between the house and anywhere you want to explore are gorgeous so getting there is half the fun!

We provide everything from spices and paper towels in the kitchen to beach towels for your water sports. All you have to do is come and enjoy. This is where your Montana adventure begins!

Beautiful Home on the Lake

We enjoyed our stay so much at this beautiful, large, family friendly home right on Ashley Lake! There were kayaks and a paddle board the kids used and loved every minute they were on this very clear and beautiful lake. We were able to also take trips up to Glacier National Park from the home and it is only 20 minutes to Kalispell to get groceries, so we were able to enjoy the lake and still be close to town. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room for the whole family. We highly recommend this home and location.

Summer Family Trip

The house was perfect for our family vacation with our young adult children. The house was equipped with everything needed for lake enjoyment and family dinners. We will definitely be returning.

Montana Paradise

The beauty of the house and Ashley Lake are unparalleled so far in comparing multiple other VRBO properties at which I've stayed. Lindsay is an incredibly responsive and detail-oriented host/and owner who left us wanting nothing. The lake, itself, is what initially drew us to search this specific area and it did not disappoint! The water was cool, not cold, and truly emerald, turquoise, and azure--beyond words! We were 8 adults, 3 kids. Not once did we feel crowded. With 4 basement bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms downstairs in addition to master suite and powder room on main floor, we were not jockeying for showers, etc and had plenty of space. Kitchen was the most stocked I've ever seen in a rental. We cooked multiple meals daily x 6 days and did not lack any items. The large pantry (well-stocked with staples) provided ample room to avoid kitchen clutter). The 2 fridges provided more than enough space for freezer and fridge items. Recommend buying ice or bringing an icemaker (this was what we did) as the fridge icemaker is rather slow. The balcony, downstairs patio, and backyard had numerous seating options, large table to accommodate us easily. The gorgeous views of the lake were evident from every angle. The fire ring in the evenings was a perfect cap to perfect days. While the daytime temps were in the 80s & 90s with full sunshine, the house remained cool and the A/C easily kept pace as needed. With cool mountain air at night, A/C certainly was not required.

Exceeded Expectations

Every couple years we bring our family together for a vacation by renting a house in what is hopefully an enjoyable location. The house on Ashley lake exceeded our expectations in both location and the house itself. Our family had a great time and the “extras” provided by the owners also added to the positive experience. I wouldn’t be surprised if our family voted to go back sometime in the future.

Ashley Lake House

Our four families had an amazing stay! Love the private location, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The home was well stocked, super clean and pretty much had all we needed. Wish the hot tub was available but other than that we enjoyed the kayaks and other water sport toys, fishing and just being in Montana!
