Dvd player in lounge , tv in lounge . Tv in both double bedrooms .1 hair dryer in master bedroom and desk fan in each bedroom . Courtyard garden has bench type seating and shed has some garden toys and sun loungers .

Why Andrea Mills chose Wick

We have lived in this area most of our lives and would not consider living anywhere else. We decided to build this fabulous cottage in 2012 to accommodate the growing demand for visitors wishing to benefit from the sea and rolling coutryside all within a 5 mile radius. A great location for easy access to historic Arundel, Goodwood, the Cathedral City of Chichester, Brighton, and of course our local sandy beaches and attractions alongside the river Arun.

What makes this house unique

Our property is within walking distance of all local amenities including a 300 year old coaching inn serving great food 7 days per week. Off road parking for 2 vehicles and a courtyard garden with brick BBQ for your convenience

Notes on accommodation: The property has 1 x high chair and 1x hair dryer , heated towel rails in both shower room and bathroom. Also a starter pack with a small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, 2 dishwasher tablets, small amount of charcoal for bar b que enough to get you started, you will need to purchase more to see you through your stay. Under floor heating throughout . sorry but pets are not permitted at our property. It is not that we don’t like animals but with our future guests welfare in mind. Wifi: we have installed wifi in our property for your use. You will be issued with the password for access. Parties: we do not permit hen or stag parties at our property. No fireworks, mobile discos or bands are permitted. We also have a self contained first floor studio flat next door sleeping 2 people (additional charge) Outside: Private secluded and secure courtyard garden with drying room/bicycle store, bench seating and brick built BBQ New Towels / Linen provided for 2 week stays Bath towels, hand towels, t/towels and linen are included and changed weekly Other: 1 travel cot, 1 high chair and 2 stair gates available ( no additional cost ) ,dvd player, 3 fans ( one in each bedroom)

Clean, comfortable and convenient

We had a lovely week in the cottage. It was very convenient for Arundel, the coast and all local amenities. The property is clean, modern and a pleasure to stay in. The enclosed garden was perfect for the children to play out in safely. Andrea was friendly and very helpful in terms of local knowledge. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Great stay in a lovely place

Very nice rental house in a lovely part of the country. Perfect for a family, with pretty much everything you need. We were 5 adults for some of the stay, and 2 for the remaining and the house felt perfectly suited. Having two bathrooms helps, as did the open plan kitchen/lounge.

Lots of nice pubs not far away and a Morrison’s within walking distance.

Only negatives are it’s by a busy road so access can be a bit challenging during rush out but we didn’t notice the noise once we were in the house. Also it would be nice to have more than one towel each, especially when you are staying for 5 days. Apart from that, a very nice place

Really well equipped cottage, modern and spacious. Good location for exploring the local area. There are historic towns, shops and seafront all about 10 minute drive away. Great little pub serving a really good menu literally 200 feet from the cottage. Owners are very friendly and helpful and live next door. Only one negative the cottage is situated on a busy A road, apart from that would totally recommend

Great family break.

Hunters retreat was a absolutely great property for our family . The house has beautifully presented rooms and the downstairs bathroom and bedroom perfect for my parents. The house is well equipped and has a homely feel . Andrea was a great host and was very informative about the area and things to see and places to eat .communication was prompt and courteous .

Location is great for exploring with many places within a short drive away

I would recommend this property to everybody looking for a lovely property in a great location .

Lucky with the weather my friends and I had a lovely stay at Hunters Retreat. The accommodation is very clean and well equipped. It is very well placed for visiting Brighton, Worthing, Arundel and Littlebourne itself with a supermarket close by.. Andrea, our host, called to make sure we had everything we needed and she left us milk and biscuits on our arrival. She obviously takes a keen interest in how her guests settle in. The road outside is very busy but it didn't keep me awake after busy days!

Sandy beaches are just a 5 minute drive away as is the river Arun

Further Details:

We are close to the south downs with its many walks.

Also local to Fontwell racecourse and Goodwood with its many events

throughout the year including horse racing, Glorious Goodwoood, Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. High chair , travel cot and stair gate all available .
