About Adrian Pimentel
Our family bought this condo in 1985 when it was brand new. Our father owned it until we purchased it from him in 2015. It has been meticulously kept and it is furnished as if we've lived there for a long time.

What makes this Condo unique
This condo is at the base of Summit East (Hyak). The ski resort is open on weekends only. The upside of that is that when the resort is closed, you have your own sledding hill, a huge playground for kids and you can watch them from the window. The other benefit is that you're 2 to 3 miles from the other resorts that are open on weekdays.

Property is exactly as described.
We enjoyed our stay. The condo truly is at the base of the lift. Although the lift was not running during our stay our kids were able to hike up to sled and board down until they were tired and ready to collapse - upon which they were immediately in the warm condo in front of the fire. Can’t beat that.
Minutes to a great restaurant - The Commonwealth. And really not all that far down to a large town to stock up on food.
We will stay again.
Great location, very comfortable.
The condo was very comfortable and close to the location of our event. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this location.
Great place to enjoy Snoqualmie Pass
This is our second summer vacation here. It was great last year and better this year. I wanted to be able to combine hiking with work in Bellevue, so it's terrific to be close enough to drive to Bellevue and still get in a quick hike afterwards. The condo is comfortable and has everything you need for cooking. The table is nice for entertaining guests, along with the breakfast bar for quick meals. Wifi is fast, so some days I was able to skip the drive and work from the condo. It was unusually hot this year, so it was nice that the condo has air conditioning. Probably the best part is waking up each day and seeing the view of the mountains!
Clean, friendly, convienent location
It was the perfect place to prep and cool down from my marathon. Very clean and had everything we needed. Owner was very helpful and nice :) Would rent again.
Would be awesome for winter, lacking a bit in summer
Snoqualmie Pass is so beautiful in the summer and you can easily access tons of trails from this location. So, with the price, this condo fit the bill for us. We weren't _unhappy_ with it, but we wouldn't return in the summer for a few reasons. First, it got pretty warm and stuffy (it was July). There were no fans, so we had to keep the windows open in the evenings and at night. That actually kept it at a comfortable temperature, but there are no screens on the windows. That left us vulnerable to bugs (which actually weren't bad thank goodness), and because it was a ground floor, it meant anyone walking by would be awkwardly close. One person actually stuck his head into the window to say hi (he thought we were the owners). Secondly, it doesn't have any place outside to lounge. It's situated on a large gravel parking lot. There are no decks, fire pit or BBQ. Again, this would be completely fine when it's cold outside, but we found ourselves a little sad to be inside on gorgeous summer evenings. One night, we made the short drive to the Commonwealth, which was really nice. Lastly, and this was said in previous reviews, it's clear the owners use it a lot. It was like staying in someone's everyday home: full pantry and refrigerator, closets full of jackets, boots and boards tucked in every corner, medicine cabinet full, loofahs in the shower......it felt a bit too intimate. Because of this, there was no convenient place to put our stuff, so we had our bags and bins of food in random spots that we could find.
A lot of the reviews said the place was clean, but that was not our experience. When we arrived, it needed a good vacuuming, there were two dirty towels draped over the shower, and there was a bin of crumpled up sheets that we couldn't tell if they were clean or not. We had to scrounge for bedding (we were not interested in using the sleeping bags that were on the bunks), and we were short on sheets and blankets. This could have been just a one-off because other people did not mention this problem.
The condo itself is totally fine; the couches are comfy and the kitchen is well-stocked. The TV and fire would be nice on winter nights after a day of skiing, but we didn't use them. We hiked Franklin Falls and Annette Lake, both of which we would recommend. Also, the Iron Horse Trail runs right by the condo and it made us wish we had brought our bikes! We walked on it down to Keechalus Lake (about 1 mile away) and enjoyed a swim, though.
My apologies. I had emergency knee replacement surgery on June 30, 2017. I have been on my back since early June because of an accident and still have not fully recovered. I am just now walking again. Consequently, I was unable to install the air conditioner. It's there now. Guests shouldn't have to vacuum. Sorry. In my introductory instructions I asked them to contact me if they needed anything. Had they called I would have remedied everything. I thought is was still cool enough so the air conditioner wasn't necessary. I would have had it installed same day had I known. It takes 10 minutes.
