Wren cottage is part of a 200 year old stone barn on the East side of Langport close to the River Parrett. Beautifully renovated in a contemporary style, it is spacious, comfortable and cosy and perfectly located just off the high street of this small historic town. Outside there is a small courtyard with patio table and 2 chairs, private parking for one car and a gate leading directly to the River Parrett and Somerset Levels.

Superb property. Cosy and perfect location, especially for our dog with fields and river at back
Can highly recommend. Cottage is delightful. Beautifully furnished and decorated with everything you need. Gay, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. Local shops and places to go. Ideal for dog walks. Will go back again
Thank you for a great review. It was lovely meeting all three of you and a pleasure having you as our guests.
Hope to see you again soon.
Best wishes - Gay & Steve
Charming, cottage for two in great location.
Location great for cycling - we took bikes - and walking. Small town with some nice shops but annoyingly Tourist Information not open at key times so do your research before going.
Property great. Tastefully decorated and central. An unexpected but thoughtful gesture was the providing of some basics in fridge to get us started. Would recommend to couples and small families - sofa bed in lounge.
Only stayed two nights but cottage lovely. Really clean and spacious. Access to river walks so close. Great for break with dogs.
Beautiful property wirh thoughtful interior in a quite location
The owners have obviously spend a lot of thought in providing guest with a 'home from home' with this beautiful very clean cottage. Little tokens like butter and bread and fresh milk being provided just shows the thoughtfulness of Gay and Steve. Thank you both for making our stay so pleasureable and for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We did not want to leave. Will definetely book again if we come into the area again

Langport is a small market town (reputedly the smallest in England) surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Somerset Levels. Its main street, built on an ancient Roman causeway, is lined with small independent shops and cafés. The River Parrett meanders gently around the edge of the town providing miles of scenic riverside for walking, cycling and fishing. Langport has a wide choice of restaurants - The Langport Arms, dating back to the Civil War, with an excellent carvery and bar snacks; the Thai Mango restaurant at Bow Wharf for delicious authentic Thai food; Cardamom, a very good curry house, Rumours tapas & wine bar and La Roche for really great steaks! There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area including Somerton, the ancient capital of Wessex with its medieval market square, the 14th century Benedictine abbey at Muchelney, Glastonbury's famous tor and abbey and the lovely little city of Wells with its magnificent cathedral.
