Casa Carmela is a beautiful luxurious Tenerife villa with amazing views of the mountains, golf course, the sea and the little fishing village of Los Abrigos. The Villa is set in its own 1,200 square metre plot, accessed through high iron gates which lead onto a driveway with ample parking space. A large attractive garden surrounds the whole of the Villa and contains many tropical trees, shrubs and flowers. A private roof terrace also offers panoramic views.
This is an extremely spacious Tenerife Villa to rent, offering 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (3 en suite). It offers completely private accommodation yet is set less than 10 minutes walk from the resort centre of Golf Del Sur.

Having been the subject of a recent extension, a huge 4th bedroom, now used as the master bedroom has been added to the back of the property which has its own seating area and large en suite. The villa can be booked as a 3 bed villa at a lower price (the 4th bedrooms remains locked). See pricing.
Villa Grounds: There is a large 7.9m x 4.5m private heated swimming pool, surrounded by a sun terrace with a sheltered veranda, furnished with sun beds and a selection of patio furniture. The pool is electrically heated between April to Oct and solar heated between May and Sept.
The swimming pool benefits from a solar heating system operating all year round, supplemented by an electrically operated heat pump in the cooler winter months, aiming to maintain a minimum temperature of 26 degrees.
To the rear of the property there is an extensive patio, partly enclosed by a large wooden pergola, with a barbecue and stairway leading to a spacious roof terrace, which offers panoramic views of the golf course, the mountains (including the famous Mount Teide) the fishing village of Los Abrigos, the sea and even Gran Canaria on a clear day.
Situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac, and behind high boundary walls, it offers a good degree of privacy and seclusion.
Property Management: This villa is looked after by a local English property management company - their details will be sent to you when you have booked. They provide a very popular taxi meet and greet service from the airport and are twinned with a car hire firm so provide cars too! Please enquire further for details. Many people book the apartment in the reassurance that there is a friendly English company close by should you need them during your stay.
We had a very happy and pleasant stay for one week in August. The villa was very roomy and well laid out (we booked the whole villa as a party of seven). The facilities were excellent and the pool wonderful.
Wifi was available (inclusive in the price) and there was also pool towels which we were not expecting.
The location suited us well as we had a car, however there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance if needed. We were pleasantly surprised with the views.
Everyone previously talks about the planes and it's very true they are low and frequent but it's amazing how quickly you get used to it and it really wouldn't put me off in future.
This is a top villa and probably one of the best we have rented,it is very clean and spacious,all mod cons,it has superb 360 degree views of the ocean up to the volcano from a huge roof terrace,but the best bit is the nice garden and seating area around a good size swimming pool to the front of the property looking across a golf course up to Mt Teidi and I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.
Lovely villa in a quiet location but within walking distance (approx.15 mins) downhill to shops and restaurants around the square at San Blas. Uphill on return but taxi's available at a cost of less than 5euros - handy when returning from the supermarket. With the golf course just a stones throw away this was an added bonus for the golfers in our party.
The villa was very spacious, clean and full of mod cons although some plastic food storage boxes would have been useful. The pool area was great with plenty of sun loungers for the sun worshippers. The pool itself was lovely and kept clean by a maintenance guy who visits twice a week.
A large terrace which is accessed from the kitchen housed a built in BBQ which we used of on one occasion and had a lovely evening. There are steps from this terrace leading up to a rooftop terrace which offers great views of the golf course and sea.
Although the villa is situated on the flight path and the planes fly overhead this was not a big issue for us.
Lots of good eating places are on hand and if you want to go over to the marina end you will find plenty of choices there too.
We would definitely recommend this villa as we had a great week's holiday.

Golf Del Sur is a very pretty resort on the south coast of Tenerife only 10-15 minutes drive from the airport. It has all the facilities you would expect from a high quality holiday resort with some really nice bars and restaurants too! The resort centre, otherwise known as 'San Blas' consists of 3 picturesque squares each containing good quality bars, restaurants (many with evening entertainment), boutiques and a night club. At the other end of the resort, next to the new marina, you will find a very pretty sea front promenade full of restaurants where you can dine 'al fresco' overlooking the sea. The nearby Spanish village of Los Abrigos is just a 5 minute taxi ride and here is a small fishing port, full of some of the best fresh fish restaurants on the island. For the golfing enthusiast the villa overlooks the Golf Del Sur championship course. Here there are also tennis courts for hire.
Golf: The villa overlooks the championship golf course at Golf Del Sur offering 27 holes in 3 loops of 9. Next to this is a further 18 holes at Amarlla Golf and Country Club.
Golf Las Americas and the Costa Adeje course are both within a 20 minute drive.
