About pauline cobley
Bought Yew Tree Cottage 6 years ago and it forms half the house in which we have lived since 1979. We completely refurbished Yew Tree Cottage as a fully equipped holiday home. Now semi retired and keep a small holding with sheep and chickens. Someone should be around most of the time to help with queries/directions etc.
pauline cobley purchased this Cottage in 2012
What makes this Cottage unique
Yew Tree Cottage is in a quiet rural location with views over the meadows and farmland. The cottage is timber framed with many original features but fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons. Gas fired central heating with underfloor heating in the kitchen and a wood burner in the lounge to keep you cosy no matter what the weather!

Lovely property. Lovely hosts. Will definitely visit again!
What a wonderful piece of England!
Pauline and Norman are wonderful people - great hosts with an amazing property. The location is superb, set in the Suffolk countryside away from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this home and we will, be returning.
Excellent well equipped character cottage with an indoor pool!
Fantastic well equiped cottage and lovely hosts. Well located for exploring rural Suffolk.
Thank you for writing a review and please you enjoyed Yew Tree Cottage
An amazing place to escape to and recharge your batteries . A haven for country life.
This charming cottage is comfortable, well equipped and really has everything you need for a break. The owners are lovely and keen to make you comfortable. The bonus of a pool which they share with their guests is a huge treat. There are many places to visit and a great pub with food one mile away.
So pleased you enjoyed Yew Tree Cottage. We feel very privileged to live in Suffolk.
Lovely cottage, good location,great pool!
We stayed in Yew farm cottage for 4 nights. It's a lovely comfortable property. Clean and well furnished with use of a superb indoor heated pool. One word of caution, the stairs are steep and winding so could be a problem for people with limited mobility. The owners who live next door were very helpful and sociable. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.
The house is so full of character but the stairs require care to negotiate, the sloping floors take a little getting used to but that is part of the charm. The log burner in the lounge really does the job and enough equipment in the kitchen to make cooking a meal easy if you want to, overall a perfect cottage in a perfect setting, wether you stay in or explore the surrounding countryside, the peace and quiet was noticeable, and we live in rural Devon. Pauline & Norman made us very welcome, and the use of the pool was a real delight. We do hope to return next year.
