We are an elderly couple and live in the south of Spain during most of the wintertime. During summer we like to live in France or the Netherlands.

We love the area because the wonderful beach, the superb 2 restaurants Los Sardinales en Los Cano at that beach all on 2 minutes walk from our apartment. It is a very quiet area but only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Marbella.

Great location we spent a lot of time walking our dog Lola on the beach which was outstanding..The bars and restaurants were closed for the winter but not all at the same time so plenty of places to eat..We had an amazing Xmas and new year and thouroughly enjoyed it..So much so we bought a house

When I saw this apartment in the web, I thought that it was perfect, but when I arrived to the house I confirmed that it was more wonderful that I thought. The house has all that you can need, full equip.
Very confortable, like a own home. Perfect pool and only two minutes to the beach.
The relation with the owner was very good, and also with the house manager.
I will repeat next year, sure!!!

We loved the location and the atmosphere of Alicate Playa. It is secure and ON the Beach with numerous beachrestaurants within walking distanse. We also found a SuperSol within reach, but a car is needed her as everywhereelse If you want to see and explore. The apartment was charming, clean and well equipped. With better beds - this one is a winner.

I wonder what you mean by better beds..... The maitresses are from a good brand Pikolin and Flex. Are they too hard or too soft? I never had complaints before about the beds?
2 minute's walk(private path) to the beach. The beach has sun loungers and shades to hire and has 2 superb beach restaurants (Los Sardinales and Los Cano) where food and drink are served all day.
Malaga airport is a 30min drive from the apartment,and Gibraltar airport can be reached in 1.5 hours by car. Car hire is recommended for exploring the area and moving around, but taxi cabs are available both from and to Malaga airport.
Marbella Town 5 km ,Puerto Banus 10km.
The white towns of Casares, Ronda, and Mijas are only short drives away.
Seville and Granada are only 2 hours drive.
There are supermarkets, hairdressers, lounge bars and banks in close proximity of the complex. La Cañada, the largest shopping mall in the Costa del Sol, with cinemas, numerous shops and restaurants is just 5 min drive from the apartment.
Los Monteros has a range of mainly upmarket housing ranging from beachfront apartments and villas, to town houses with communal garden and pools, to hillside villas.
